This is a very unique, modern, one of a kind beach house, walking distance to the beach and shops, close to golf courses, cafe's and wineries.
The Cottage is a very spacious, 2 storey, modern, rustic beach house with all mod cons nestled away in a quiet street. It is only a leasurely walk from Blairgowrie and a quick drive from Sorrento. Just a short walk to the beautful Tyrone foreshore.
Brimming with character and offering a unique ambience created by lavender hedge gardens, and a white picket fence, this stunning rustic cottage-style home made from reclaimed bricks, is a picture-perfect seaside property. Truly one of a kind.
Ideal for luxury weekend escapes or as a family friendly holiday experience, whatever your needs, this house can accommodate.
A huge open plan living room forms the heart of the home with polished timber floors.
There is a huge limestone open fireplace, *with plenty of wood provided. Perfect for snuggling up next to with a bottle of red or a good book.
French doors lead out to a brick-paved terrace, while towering cathedral ceilings rise up to a mezzanine area.
The kitchen blends old and new, featuring stainless steel cooking appliances and distressed timber cabinets and bench tops.
Two downstairs bedrooms each have ensuites, and on the upper level is another living area, a powder room and another large loft bedroom with dormer windows.
There is ample off street parking and even room for a boat!
Other features include a double carport, central heating, upstairs airconditioning and secure front gates.
*Please note that wood is only provided in Winter and Autumn.
We have thought of everything. There are books, toys, cd's, DVD's, and games for the kids. There is even a wii and wii games.
There is tea, coffee and sugar provided. The kitchen is equipped with an espresso machine. The house also has information on the local area.
The Cottage is in a quiet street close to the beautiful bay beaches of Blairgowrie and Rye. You can walk to the front beach from the house in less than 10 minutes, and it is a short 3 minute drive to the crashing surf of the back beach.
The supermarket in Blairgowrie is fabulous with loads of fantastic deli items and the closest convenience store is 1km away.
The cottage can accommodate 10 adults in comfort or alternatively can easily accomodate 1 or 2 families with children.
There are two bedrooms downstairs (one with ensuite), with two queen size beds. The main bathroom (with a full size bath) and huge laundry are also downstairs.
Upstairs, there is another powder room, and the huge bedroom has a bunk bed, 2 king size single beds and a roll away single trundle. The landing also has a futon sofa bed for overnight guests.
The upstairs area has been delegated especially for the children. Dowstairs for the Adults.
For younger children a high chair is available upon request.
Doonas, and pillows are provided - just bring your own linen and towels.
For all guests staying for 7 nights or more all linen will be provided free of charge.
