Description

Boutique luxury french style Yarra Valley cottage apartments on central Yarra Valley vineyard and winery. These self contained apartments offer Yarra Valley cottage accommodation with unique ambience that such beautiful surrounds can offer. Enjoy accommodation here by the vineyard, or request a cellar tour and private tasting. We can organise a number of packages to suit the requirements of your Yarra Valley retreat. Also available are relaxed BBQ platters with Estate wine for you to enjoy in the privacy of your own cottage indoors or outdoors. Here for your country escape, the views are magnificent, with the valley rolling away in front of you and the mountains of the Great Dividing Range behind. Yet it's only a short drive to restaurants, other wineries, shopping, wildlife, walking, markets, gourmet produce and galleries. Melbourne CBD is only 1 hours drive.

Kiltynane Estate Winery

The Estate Winery and Vineyard produces only Pinot Noir. Grown avoiding chemicals, we use biodynamic and organic practices instead. The plants are low yielding, producing only 10 - 12 bunches per vine. All the wine is hand made in tiny parcels using wild yeasts and traditional french wine making techniques. The wine is matured in french oak and is found in some of Melbourne and Sydney's top gastonomic eateries. You can enjoy the cellar door when staying at Kiltynane, or book a complimentary private tour and tasting when you stay a couple of days or more. Kiltynane Estate is making a name for it's unique Yarra Valley Pinot Noir.

Guest Reviews

  • "We thought this was a very special place to stay -everything had been so beautifully thought through, it was a bit like staying in a friend's house rather than an empty rental place. The cottage has a superb outlook over the horse paddock and is surrounded by pretty, established gardens. We saw lots of cute rabbits trying to eat up the gardens. It's very quiet and comfortable, and central to all the nice sites and close to lovely Healesville. Kate, the owner gave us lots of good tips for eating and winery visiting, as well as perfect directions to get there from Melbourne aiport. She runs her own winery on the property too, although we didn't ever get to visit it and would have likes the opportunity to try some in our room. Plenty of generous breakfast provisions are left in the kitchen."
