A great place feel like home full of characters like going back to the old time. Very comfortable and relaxing. Handy enough to town centre yet peaceful and quiet. Heaps of local attractions close by. Highly recommended.

We loved this house. It really was a home away from home. Everything about your service was professional and friendly from start to finish. My emails where replied to straight away, communication was excellent. The house is in top condition, really clean and well taken care of. My only regret is that we didnt stay longer. Thank you for an amazing holiday, we needed it.

A last minute decision to find somewhere to stay for the weekend of the Highland Fling MTB race led us eventually to Beatrice Park as our weekend base for us, my parents and our two small children (a 2 year old and a 2 week old!).
Turns out I was more concerned about the possibility of breakages (2 yr old + ornaments, you know how it is!) than the owners and this generosity of spirit was reflected in the whole house!
Some holiday homes are sterile with the bare minim to make it liveable but at Beatrice Park it was just like your friends had gone away and left you the keys with the message 'please treat it like you'd expect us to treat your house'.
We had a lovely time and this is definitely on our list of places to stay again.

Our second visit to Beatrice Park! I was prepared to be slightlyl disappointed, as one often is when returning to a place one enjoyed so much before. However I certainly was not disappointed. We took two other couples this time and of course I felt responsible for their enjoyment of the place too. All were delighted with its gracious ambience and its large comfortable bedrooms. And how lovely it is to stay in a place where it is assumed you are a normal honest person who wouldnt dream of damaging the wonderful things around the home-books, ornaments, beautiful furniture and so on. We had our afternoon drinks under the trees in the front garden and our breakfasts in the cosy kitchen. Thank you for the fact that we felt completely at home for our three days!

A genuinely 'homely' atmosphere and environment surrounded by beautiful gardens meant a truly enjoyable and relaxing holiday. It was an absolute treat to stay at Beatrice Park. Our family recommends this 'home in the Highlands' for your consideration. You won't be disappointed.

We stayed with friends for 3 nights. What a magical place to stay. Spotlessly clean and as if wolking into your own home. Loved all the antiques and the comfort of the rooms. In particular the bed we had in the main room was fantastic. Just a short wlk into the main street of Bowral it is a perfect location. We cooked each night the kitchen had everything we needed. Would highly recommend to anyone. Hope to visit again soon. Thanks Justin and John

I travelled up from Melbourne, arriving after a long wet drive, i quickly forgot the burdens of the trip as i settled into the opulence that is named "Beatrice Park". Touring for six days in my 1912 Cadillac, in conjunction with the Vetern car club; amongst the sunny, but wind chilled April days, made the return each afternoon as if being greated by an old friend. The warm cosy house made it indulgent, for those of us who rattled across the rough N.S.W roads in their antique auto's.!
Access was given to shelter the Cadillac by use of the garage and importantly to me, this was just one of the many fine details offered during my stay.
This house, that offers unchallenged quality, unsurpassed finesse and a genuine uniqueness, is with out doubt the "Cadillac" of accomodation.

We enjoyed our second stay at Beatrice Park as much as our first stay three years ago. The privacy, fabulous gardens, space, books, personal nicknacks from yesteryear set the scene for relaxation and fun. You feel as though you are in a time warp from the 1930's. Very refreshing and unique.

Walking into Beatrice Park was amazing.
It was as if the owners had slipped out for a few minutes, and left us the key to let ourselves in and make ourselves at home till they got back. Which we did for the next 2 days. We will certainly return.

Beatrice Park jumped out from the Stayz guide immediately for its absolute stunning home and surrounds, and for me, for the wonderful Agatha Christie style of living it promised. It truly lived up to the period charm I hoped it would.
The owners have presented a wonderful home for visitors full of charm and sophistication and truly reminiscent of a different era where things were slower and more refined. The garden is glorious and I was lucky enough to enjoy one of the best autumns showcasing the stunning colours of the trees. From the large picture window in the lounge and indeed from every room in the house a beautiful vista presented. Sitting in the garden to take tea was something glorious.
I also loved the bathrooms in their deco-style which were so comfortable for long baths.
The house is beautifully appointed and the owners are most accommodating. I can't wait to return.

Our stay at Beatrice Park began as a bit of a fancy to spend a romantic weekend away with close friends. What a fancy this turned out to be. We are now in love with all that Bowral has to offer and enchanted by ?Beatrice Park?.
What a magical; weekend surrounded by luscious gardens with the grandeur of such a stately home. Albeit we had three days of rain the house is delightfully spacious and exudes a homely feel. We snuggled and cuddled our way through the entire weekend it was so relaxing and dreamy, very therapeutic for busy lifestyles. Thanks you Justin and John for sharing your home with us. xox

My wife and I would have to say that was easily the most relaxed few days we have enjoyed for some time, due mainly to the fact that the house is so wonderfully warm and inviting and John and Justin went to great lenghts to make sure we were comfortable.
We hope to stay longer next time!

My husband and I both grew up in Bowral and return often to catch up with friends and family. As a family of 6 (four children under 8) it is almost impossible to find suitable accommodation in the Highlands - thank goodness for Beatrice Park!! The garden is wonderful to explore and the home is just that - a home. Our search for regular holiday accommodation is over. Thankyou John & Justin.

My husband and I spent 2 weeks at Beatrice Park in July 2009 as we are thinking of relocating from Perth WA to Bowral- We are very over the long hot Perth Summers and we now have 3 little grandchildren in the East so it tugs on the heart strings as well as the purse!! One daughter, husband and 2 babies came from Balmain to stay overnight then another daughter came from Brisbane with her 16month old to stay with us for 6 nights. The day we arrived was freezing, but the moment we opened the door the warm, cosy welcome hit us and we felt instantly at home. The rooms were lovely and big and light filled- windows everywhere to let the sunshine in!- and we found the bedrooms nice and big for our various families to sleep comfortably. We had no trouble fitting babies in portable cots in the rooms with their mums and dads. I would recommend the king size beds and lovely bedlinen to anyone and coming from Perth- it was quite a novelty to climb out of a lovely hot shower into a warm bathroom!! As we were there in the dead of winter, we didn't see the full potential of the beautiful gardens, but recognizing the different plants, I imagine it to be just gorgeous in Spring and Autumn. As it was, our 2 year old granddaughter was fascinated to watch the myriad birds fossicking for their breakfast in the climbing camelia ( covered in gorgeous flowers) just outside the kitchen window. If you are into "precious collectables and family treasures" as our visiting sister was- you will be enthralled by the wonderful collection, obviously gathered over many years, by the owner. We walked into town- an easy stroll, every day and as we were assessing real estate- we walked to Burradoo- West Bowral up Centennial Road and all over the place- just lovely in the drizzling rain. We popped into Berrida Manor one night whilst out for a walk and were amazed to be welcomed to an open fire and have a glass of red put into our hand- the locals are so very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Had a lovely time at the once a month market on a Sat morn in the school grounds-thoroughly recommend the fresh baked loaves of olive bread and the organic licorice!! This home away from home speaks of many happy family and special occasions and we had a wonderful and comfortable stay there. Thank you Justin and John for making it possible and we hope to meet you in "the Highlands some day soon.

A delightful sojourn. At once secluded, spacious, serene and yet the embrace and warmth of a temporary haven - a true home.
Venture to the village and the temptations of the well-stocked purveyors. Be enticed by the surrounding environs and the short drives. Know that your wonderful base at Beatrice Park awaits. Laze or be envigorated. Pure and simple joy. Thank you!!

We are three families who met when our daughters went to boarding school in the Southern Highlands. Our girls have left school now and we parents have become so fond of each other that we decided to meet twice a year in Bowral. Beatrice Park is absolutely perfect. We love the feeling of being "at home" and now that we don't have to race off to school for yet another event, we can relax, read the papers, listen to music, eat, drink and be merry. Our weekends are now even more perfect since Harris Farm Markets opened in Bowral. We have booked again in October and can't wait to see the gardens in Spring.

We stayed at Beatrice Park recently and were delighted to discover what a lovely home it is. Bedrooms are large and light and the decor throughout the house is tasteful and interesting. Good showers too! Plenty of wonderful books and objects d'art to admire if you have time when not rambling in the large garden or walking around the classy neighbourhood. It's like walking into a loved family home which someone has only just departed. Highly recommended!

We utilised the lovely Beatrice Park as a family residence for four nights when our son and daughter-in-law were married in Bowral. We found the property to be everything we expected and more. It was truly a home away from home and provided us with the comfort and space we needed. The home has a lovely, friendly ambience and we would not hesitate to recommend it to our friends.
