C-Change at Culburra Beach

C-Change offers a relaxing seaside getaway for families, couples and friends. Only a 10 minute stroll from the sheltered, bay-style Culburra Beach or to the famous surf of Warrain Beach, 5 minutes to the beautiful Lake Wollumboola and a short drive to the Crookhaven River, C-Change is a comfortable, well furnished holiday house where parents can unwind over a good book while the kids play inside in generous living areas or outside in the large backyard.

It's Pet Friendly, too, with well behaved dogs welcome!

C-Change features a downstairs kitchen with breakfast bar and an adjacent dining area with an eight (8) seater dining table. There are two (2) living areas: downstairs looking out to the back garden and upstairs offering Lake views - both with TV/DVD and CD/Radio. And there are three (3) upstairs bedrooms: main with queen sized bed; 2nd with double sized below/single above bunk bed; and 3rd with two (2) single beds - there's also a double sized sofa bed downstairs.

Please note: The holiday house accommodates 8 people, but the family orientated sleeping and bathroom configuration means that we only accept bookings for a maximum of 5 adults.

Location & Things to Do

Set on the coast, 18km east from Nowra, Culburra is an easy 2.5 to 3 hour drive from Sydney and a similar distance from Canberra. The laid back, seaside town is well serviced by shops, takeaways and restaurants and is surrounded by water: the fisherman friendly Crookhaven River and Curley's Bay to the north and west; the kid and dog friendly, long, sheltered, bay-style Culburra Beach and famous Warrain Beach for surfers to the east (both patrolled during the summer holidays); and Lake Wollumboola for nature lovers to the south.

Enjoy the nearby beaches, sheltered or surf and lake. Find your favourite view of the lake, river or sea - spot dolphins and whales! Bring your bikes - Culburra is mostly flat and easy to get around by bike. Go bird watching on the lake and river foreshores. Sit back while the kids run about in the playgrounds. Pick up lunch from a beach side take-away or dinner from a variety shops and restaurants in the centre of town. Learn to surf at the Culburra Surf School. Wander the river mud flats at low tide and marvel at the scurrying crabs. Bring your boat - go sailing, go fishing. Or just relax.

If you'd like a day trip, there's plenty to choose from in and around the Shoalhaven area. Take a short drive to Greenwell Point, Currarong, Point Perpendicular, Callala Bay, Jervis Bay, or a little further on to Shoalhaven Heads, Cambewarra Mountain Lookout, Kangaroo Valley and Berry. Visit world famous wineries, play golf and mini-golf, go on bush walks and boat trips, try canoeing and kayaking.

Or just stay home at C-Change, relax and enjoy the comforts of a well equipped, family and pet friendly holiday house!

Family Pet Friendly

Well behaved dogs are welcome at C-Change - but we do ask that dogs are kept off the furniture and out of the carpeted bedrooms (as we do with our own well behaved dog!).

The large backyard is fully fenced and a dog kennel, bed and food and water bowls are provided.

The streets in Culburra are mostly flat and easy walking for dogs of all ages. Culburra Beach allows off-leash exercising between 4pm and 8am with dogs permitted on-leash at other times (please check Council signs for prohibited areas). And it's just a short drive from C-Change for a pleasant walk along the river.
