Description

Frozzie’s Eco-retreat is located in Dorroughby, right in the heart of the Rainbow region. Situated on a 10-acre property, only 15 minutes away from the breath taking Minyon falls, with abundant wildlife and fauna right at your doorstep.

Frozzie’s Eco-retreat is an ideal venue for relaxing or a romantic escapade.

This is not just your average accommodation. The Cottage (studio layout) has all that you need to make your stay comfortable, with an astonishing bed, linen, fluffy towels, listen to a favourite CD on the stereo, read a book, take a walk in our own private rain forest or relax in one of our feature gardens. There are plenty of little features that will surprise you!

Children are welcome. There is a big trampoline and plenty of adventures to be had within the property.

Your hosts, Celine and Didier, will make your stay enjoyable, providing warm hospitality from a long family tradition. They can help in organizing your day by making bookings from a myriad of activities in the area, or simply give you a hand to plan your itinerary. You can order wonderful home made meals, which you can share with your hosts or have in the privacy of the cottage.

The setting is splendid, we have a whole lot of native wildlife that roams around: Koalas, wallabies and even a family of quite rare native cats. There are plenty of birds to observe and listen too in a unique setting.

Didier is an avid motorcycle rider and knows all the best roads in the area. He can lead you or point out the best routes to take in the most of the region.

Rainbow region

We are a short drive from Minyon Falls, Byron Bay, Nimbin, The Channon, Mullumbimby, Bangalow and Lismore.

Bush walking, mountain biking, horse riding, fishing, craft markets, Crystal Castle, Macademia Castle and alternative tours around the fantastic rainbow region, plus a whole array of other activities.

Property & Facilities

Peaceful setting, ideal gazebo for Yoga or meditation. The shower has feature mosaic. This eco-retreat is fitted with compost toilet and is using rain water to preserve the environment. There is a surpise at every corner...
