Description

Public jetty and boat ramp at your front door. Fish, picnic, doze, do what you like. Accomodation is a cottage with two bedrooms. Polished floors, gas kitchen and wood heater. Broad private deck overlooking the water and a huge sloping garden dotted with grazing kangaroos. Boat parking and short term jetty available. A short drive takes you to Mallacoota, for shopping and cafes, and the beautiful wilderness beaches of the Croajingollong National Park. Spot a dingo or track a goanna. This rich corner of Victoria boasts a unique climate and an abundance of flowers and wildlife. There is no other place in Australia like it.

  • "We recently stayed at Riverbed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is in a beautiful location and we enjoyed the magnificent views over the water. The house is very comfortable and we liked the large decking area where we could sit outside and relax and enjoy the peaceful surrounds or watch the kangaroos playing on the front lawn or the friendly birds who like to come and say hello and check out what is in the birdfeeder."

The books in the cottage helped us city folks immensely with our bird watching. My 7 year old had regular conversations with the kangaroos and the possum... we'll go back as soon as we can!"
