Public jetty and boat ramp at your front door. Fish, picnic, doze, do what you like. Accomodation is a cottage with two bedrooms. Polished floors, gas kitchen and wood heater. Broad private deck overlooking the water and a huge sloping garden dotted with grazing kangaroos. Boat parking and short term jetty available. A short drive takes you to Mallacoota, for shopping and cafes, and the beautiful wilderness beaches of the Croajingollong National Park. Spot a dingo or track a goanna. This rich corner of Victoria boasts a unique climate and an abundance of flowers and wildlife. There is no other place in Australia like it.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful 7 days at Riverbed. The house is extremely comfortable and well equipped for a long term stay. The variety of wildlife is amazing and we enjoyed feeding the birds that visited the verandah throughout the day. Kangaroos feed and laze in the garden and possums make an appearance in the evening. Gipsy Point is a fantastic location, very quiet and beautiful scenery but it is also easily accessible to Mallacoota. We enjoyed fishing in the inlet and there are many picnic/bbq spots to tie up to and enjoy excellent facilities. We also did a day trip to the pretty town of Eden and were lucky enough to witness a female humpback whale and her calf completing full breaches out of the water, which was absolutely amazing.
Riverbed at Gipsy Point is a great place to relax, unwind and soak up the natural beauty of the area.

We recently stayed at Riverbed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is in a beautiful location and we enjoyed the magnificent views over the water. The house is very comfortable and we liked the large decking area where we could sit outside and relax and enjoy the peaceful surrounds or watch the kangaroos playing on the front lawn or the friendly birds who like to come and say hello and check out what is in the birdfeeder.

Lovely peaceful place to stay. Great wildlife and warm/cosy. Large private block that made you feel like you were all alone and even had a private jetty. Recommend it too anyone - will be back!!!

Loved Riverbed and Gipsy Point. We felt totally relaxed. The waterways were great and we enjoyed several days kayaking. The wildlife was amazing and very friendly. Fantastic view and we will certainly be back. Highly recommend Riverbed and Gipsy Point.

Riverbed was a dream come true... when I close my eyes I can see the tranquil expanse of the lake interrupted only by the cacophony of the numerous birds. The books in the cottage helped us city folks immensely with our bird watching. My 7 year old had regular conversations with the kangaroos and the possum... we'll go back as soon as we can!

As a family with 2 small children we had a wonderful week long stay at Riverbed. The children loved the kangaroos, the fishing, the swimming and the walks through the bush. We loved the tranquility and the wonderfully easy home - especially the beautifully large verandah. We highly recommend Riverbed as a place to stay.

What a fabulous place for a restful break: a serene environment, bountiful gardens, wildlife on the doorstep (literally) and a beautiful and comfortable place to stay! Although the house may not be suitable for really young children, for our 4 and 6 year old (and for the adults) "Riverbed" and Gipsy Point were absolutely fantastic. Thanks!

We so enjoyed our stay at Riverbed - we really, really didn't want to leave. It's a glorious spot, with views from the deck you'll never tire of. Very tranquil and comfy house; lovely, quirky, productive garden; easy kayaking; great birdwatching. The best holiday-let we've had in years.

A great place - beautiful views, quiet and calm, with lots of visiting wildlife. Mallacoota is a short drive away for anything you need, but we preferred to just hang around on Riverbed's verandah enjoying the surroundings.

This is truly a wonderful holiday destination. Great house, wonderful view, excellent location, friendly and accomodating hosts. There was lots to do for the kids and lots of relaxation for the adults. We even caught fish of the private jetty!!
