Welcome to this spacious comfortable property with beautiful calming views of the Tatong Valley.Tatong valley is located at the 'gateway' to North Eastern Victoria as well as giving immediate access to snow country at Mt Buller and the surrounding Mansfield area. The nearest town of Benalla has Winton Raceway, Benalla International Gliding Club, the renowned Benalla Art Gallery, Lake Nillahcootie and several wineries close by. Benalla is also known for its beautiful Rose Gardens.
Bring your golf clubs and Benalla has excellent opportunity for a game.
The Tatong Tavern is in walking distance (Mentioned by the Age-Good Food Guide) from Max's Paddock and is there for our guests to enjoy, if you do not choose to use the superb new and modern kitchen (and scullery) facilities of the property.
Visits can also be made to places such as Beechworth, Bright, and Milawa (Brown Bros), Glenrowan, Rutherglen and King Valley Wineries.
So much to do - or - just rest and enjoy the peace and views.

The size of Max's Paddock means that it can facilitate the getaway for a group booking of several couples or even the comfort of large families, or several families.
Instant heating or cooling adds luxury comfort.
Kangaroos and wild life visit the large dam that the property overlooks providing constant interest.

Inside is beautifully decorated furnished and appointed There is a wood fire for winter. Each bedroom has its own heating and cooling unit
and the main living area, main bedroom and billiard room/recreation room has efficient ducted heating and cooling.
Linen is provided at $10 per person.
The large bedrooms have more than adequate wardrobe area.There are five large bedrooms. Four bedrooms have immediate ensuite facilities and there is a main bathroom that makes wheelchair entry a comfort. The main bathroom also has a beautiful 'soaker' bath with the most amazing view. All rooms have outside access onto decking and every room has the pleasure and influenced calm from the view that the Valley provides the property.Unfortunately with due consideration to adjoining Farmers and livestock, Dogs are not allowed to stay.
