Peppermint Ridge Retreat is situated in the charming rural waterside township of Woodbridge, 35 mins South of Hobart on the Huon tourist trail.

Perched high up above Peppermint Bay it is nestled amongst a significant wildlife corridor stretching all the way to Mt Wellington. It is renowned for its stunning views along the D'Entrecasteaux Channel to Bruny island and beyond.

Intriguingly different, the studios have been created by the owners from strawbales, rustic stone, blue gum poles, and recycled corrugated iron. The decor has a funky contemporary feel with bright colors and modern furnishings and appliances.

Indulge yourself with the many extras including fresh coffee, large log fire, long soaks in the spa bath, local handmade soap & a hearty breakfast with hot baked bread in your studio.

This property has many accolades including being listed as one of Tasmania's 50 Finest Homes, has appeared on the cover of the Owner Builder Magazine and featured in Gourmet Traveler's Autumn edition 2008.

Our self contained retreats have open plan living, dining and kitchen all with breathtaking views from the huge double story windows.

The stunning, main queen loft bedroom has an exceptional vantage point from which to appreciate the valley and seascape beyond. There is an additional downstairs bedroom with a double and single bed to accommodate up to 5 guests.

A large bathroom features a luxurious deep corner spa for long soaks, hand thrown pottery sink and giant rain shower.

Enjoy eating alfresco with your own BBQ and private deck whilst watching the antics of the local wildlife, with wallabies, cheeky possums and birdlife in abundance including a mating pair of wedge tailed eagles.

Nearby attractions include the acclaimed Peppermint Bay restaurant and providore, Bruny island with its spectacular scenery, beaches and wildlife cruise, award winning Grandvewe cheesery and numerous wineries.
