Songbirds in the Forest is a luxurious 51-acre private retreat designed for people who enjoy the finer things in life. There are six private guest villas and a multi-award winning restaurant on the property. The restaurant is open to the public but guests have exclusive use of the beautiful privately owned rainforest domain.

The villas are designed for couples who want to relax in a romantic environment. Each villa has a king-sized bed, a bathroom with a double spa bath, a lounge area with an open fire, audio visual entertainment equipment and a large secluded verandah. The villas are luxuriously appointed and furnished, the decor includes original artworks and huge fur throws.

The rainforest property is accessible to guests and native wildlife. Pathways traverse the 51 acres so guests can meet and mingle with the native possums, koalas, wallabies, bush turkeys and the prolific birdlife.

Guests can stroll through the peaceful gardens, jog through the rainforest, exercise on the flat grassed areas or picnic among the tall ancient trees. A therapeutic massage service, individual yoga classes and meditation sessions are available to villa guests by appointment.

The focal point of the property is the restaurant – voted the best in the state this year.
The 100-seat licensed restaurant incorporates indoor and covered alfresco dining areas surrounded by landscaped grounds and pristine rainforest. Lunch is served every day from noon and dinner from 6pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
