La Mer is one of the very few properties in Ocean Grove that are truly beachside. It is a bright and comfortable 3 bed room 2 bathroom home which sleeps 6 people. It is fully self contained with all of the comforts of home.
Its prime position next to the beach allows you to leave the car at home and walk across the road to the beach.
All linen is supplied at no extra cost. Sorry no pets or groups under the age of 25 years.

Amenities
The open plan living area has cathedral ceilings and cedar stacker doors leading to the deck, the elevated position allows you to overlook the lights of Ocean Grove.
The living area includes a large screen plasma TV, DVD and sound system. There are comfy couches and a large dining table. It has a R/C air conditioner and gas heater for year round comfort.
The stainless steel kitchen is new and includes gas hot plates, wall oven, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge and plenty of bench and pantry space.. It is fully equipped with all of the gear you need to make family meals if you feel like it.
The master bedroom includes a queen bed and sliding doors to a private courtyard with table and chairs. You can open the doors at night to let the sound of the waves lull you to sleep. It has a full ensuite and your own private TV and DVD.
The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and BIRs.
The 3rd bedroom has a bunks for 2 and a large WIR, large digital TV, DVD & VCR. There is a small table and chairs, bean bags heaps of kids videos and games. A portacot,high chair toddler toilet seat and steps are provided.
The second sparkling new bathroom has a large comfy bath, separate fully glass shower and large vanity.
There is a separate laundry with washing machine and lots of bench space.
All linen is supplied at no extra cost.
Please note that this property is not suitable for schoolies, groups under 25 years or parties, no pets please.
Location
La Mer is located in Ocean Grove which is 25 mins from Geelong and about 75 mins from Melbourne.
La Mer is right next to the beach which is suitable for young children, they will enjoy the rock pools at low tide. The older ones will enjoy body boarding.
The funky Cheeky Cow cafe is 2 doors up and offers eat in breakfast & lunch & takeaways.
From our beach you can see the Point Lonsdale light house to the east and the bluff at Barwon Heads to the west. You can walk up to the patrolled beach or continue along the beach or bike track to Barwon Heads.
There is a choice of 2 shopping centres with all facilities only a few minutes drive in either direction. The house is next to a milk bar and new Cafe where you can go for breakfast and lunch and get takeaway for dinner.
Next to this is a large new playground and park to keep the children entertained and tables and chairs for mum and dad.
There is a hotel within walking distance for bistro meals which has a large kids play area.

Shoulder rates -Nov 1st to Dec 19th, February and March and school holidays.
Peak rates - Dec 20th to Jan 28th.
Vic public holidays 3 night minimum stay, $200 a night.
Easter 4 nights, Thursday to Monday, $1000.
