Description

Lie on the deck and catch up on that well deserved rest. Watch the boats go past on the tranquil waters or enjoy some invigorating surf ski paddle across to one of the islands. Relax and read that book that you are going to get around to but never quite managed or simply enjoy a glass of bubbles amongst friends and family while you watch your kids play in the shallow waters of the lake.

Our modern 3 BR waterfront brick house is located at the quiet end of a Cul-De-Sac surrounded by the waters of St Georges Basin. The quality built home comfortably accommodates all the family (sleeps up to 8 persons).
The spacious living room with leather lounge, TV, DVD- and CD-player opens to a large timber deck overlooking the lake. The 3 double bedrooms are carpeted, the bathroom has a full size spa and the house offers two seperate toilets. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped for a holiday household including 4 burner stove & oven, Microwave, Electric Frying Pan, Water kettle and Toaster.
The house has a lock up garage (plus some off street parking), and is equipped with all modern conveniences, washing machine, dryer and a 4 burner gas BBQ. Gas heating is hooked up during the cooler months to make you feel comfortable. Everything you want for a relaxing and peaceful stay.

The park like setting makes you feel like you are the only people around, but a short walk will have you at the local shops, Take-Aways and a club or at a waterfront restaurant. The lake offers safe swimming and fishing or you can play golf at the famous Sanctuary Point Golf course - the home of large groups of kangaroos – only a short drive away.
You can explore the wonderful and picturesque Jervis Bay National Park offering the whitest sandy beaches, magnificent bush walking tracks and a free picnic and BBQ spot at Greenpatch or drive to Husskisson and Vincentia to enjoy dolphin watch cruises and beautiful bay and ocean beaches just 10 minutes away.

Dear Wolfgang,

we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at your beautiful holiday house, showing around our English visitor. She was truly impressed by the wildlife in the Jervis Bay National Park.

Many thanks

Margaret & Ken Brodie

Guest Reviews

  • "We have just returned from a fabulous weekend at your lovely holiday home. The waterfront location was ideal and we spent many happy hours kayaking in the basin, exploring the nearby beaches, and relaxing on your terrace making the most of the beautiful scenery. We will definitely be back. "

  • "The picture is exactly what you get. The house is very comfortable and very roomy. This is a perfect holiday for those that want to get away and relax with water near your backdoor. Great position for fishing with the boat ramp just down the road."

  • "We had a lovely, peaceful, relaxing weekend break. The house is clean, comfortable, well equiped and very warm for a winter visit. The full moon shining over the basin was delightful. A wonderful stay out of the hustle and bustle with lovely views over the basin. Can thoroughly recommend a stay at the St Georges Basin Waterfront. "

  • "lovely peaceful setting. Rain fell for most of the week, but the house was airy and comfortable. The water was inviting and warm when the weather permitted. Thank you for your hospitality."

  • "The property is a little gem in the Saphire Coast. A favourite area to visit for us but the first time we have had the added bonus of being on the water. Many a time was spent watching the water activities and the brilliant birdlife on our doorstep. With easy access to the golf course and many other adventures it is a great place to stay. "
