If you want to go further afield short day trips to Byron Bay, Boarder Rangers and Mount Warning are a must.

By car - Southbound - From Brisbane/Gold Coast Airport (Coolangatta):
Stay on the Pacific Motorway until you reach the Pottsville Cross the overpass bridge and continue towards Pottsville Beach. Go through Pottsville village.
Turn right and right again into Overall drive, we are on the left opp. the Tavern.

Edgewater was exactly what we were looking for. A beautiful ,clean and modern home. Backing on to the estuary, it was ideal for us and our dog, It was handy to the shops and close to the doggie beach. We had a wonderful holidsy and would recommend it highly to anyone with a dog looking for a relaxing beach holiday.

What an amazing place to stay! This should be listed as one of the wonders of the world. The house is spacious and clean with everything you need for a great holiday.
The back deck is where I spent most of my time with the beautiful estuary just metres away.
Annie and Mike are wonderful hosts. I'll be back - hopefully sooner rather than later. Thanks for a very relaxing holiday. I would highly recommend this house to anyone.

Our third time back, this time with our toddler aswell as the fur-kids. Great location on the water. We only live an hour away so our extended family also came up for a night. My neice and nephew loved the kayak and the fishing, all from the backyard. excellent value for money, we have paid more for a small hotel room. Really well equipped kitchen. Again, thumbs up for the sports channels.

We had a lovely holiday once again
at this wonderful house, and again, thoroughly enjoyed the locale and the house. It really is very well set up and is a very relaxing place to stay. I took some books and magazines away with me - but I did find it distracting and often just ended up sitting and watching what was happening on the water or out the back - there was always something going on!
I truly believe that the four-legged members of the family enjoyed it as much if not more than we did!
I also think that the big advantage of Pottsville and the location of Edgewater is that it doesn't get quite as frenetic around there as some of the places on the coast, so it really was extremely relaxing.

Our fortnight at Edgewater was undoubtedly our best family holiday to date. It didn't even matter that we had a few days of rain as the house is so comfortable. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing and loved Blackrock beach. Our children thought the backyard was fantastic. My favourite time of day - 5pm on the deck with a glass of wine watching the kids play and enjoying the water views! Bliss. We will undoubtedly be back.

What a wonderful five days we all had. We relaxed instantly thanks to the lovely location and clean, fresh feel of the house. The fact that Edgewater was very toddler friendly also helped us to sit back and enjoy our first family holiday. We are certain we'd love to visit again in the future.

Wonderful. It was lovely to have a holiday we could take the dogs on. The standard of accomodation compares to some luxury hotels. We couldn't have asked for more and my husband was so impressed with the sports channels. So close to a dog friendly beach where our two fur-children made some great friends.

Lovely to find a quality residence, beautifully situated, that allowed us to take our four legged family member. We loved the roaring fire in those chilly evenings, yet managed to enjoy the morning sun for breakfast. A great mini winter break away.

Australia Day week 2009 was just wonderful at Edgewater. The house and its facilities were just perfect, when we opened the door we knew we were going to be in for a great holiday. The estuary at your back door was fantastic and we have recommended the house to all our friends and family. So our little secret of Edgewater and Pottsville won't be a secret for long. I have stayed here for the second time with my pets and friends. We had a great time. Everything is in the house you could want. Annie has it cleaned, so you know it is spotless when you arrive. My pets love the beach, as I do too, and everything is in walking distance.

I needed to some time out and this property was recommened by a work colleague because it was pet friendly. I ended up down there on my own and with no furry friends but got the most out of every minute of my down-time. I was so relaxed and rejuventated when I left. The house took my breath away - it has such a great feel and you just don't want to leave. The people in the town itself are really friendly and easy going. I will be back again before the end of the year!

Edge Water is the most comfortable and well-equipped home away from home. The location is just perfect, with absolutely magnificent views and the local shops only metres away with everything that you need. The house is just gorgeous and beautifully presented, and the wood fire was divine with a few glasses of wine in the evenings! We were so thrilled to be able to share our holiday experience with our dogs, they had a great time too. Everything was perfect, Annie and Mike take a lot of care and pride in making this house a great holiday getaway, we will definitely be returning!

We spent a wonderful week at Edge Water in Pottsville. It would have to have been one of the most relaxing holidays I've ever had. The house was beautiful and incredibly well equipped. The deck was a joy - we spent most of our time out there enjoying the view. All in all it was a fabulous holiday - the only thing that hampered us slightly was not being able to let our dogs out to run freely in the back (the front fenced yard was a little small and removed the all the action so the dogs didn't like being there).
