Mountain Hideaway has an open plan living area, with a wood fire as well as a split system for heating & cooling, large LCD flat screen TV and a modern kitchen with all amenitys.
The bathroom has a double spa as well as a shower for 2, with a seperate laundry area built in.

This place is great value for money. We came for a girls weekend away and it was fantastic. Would be great for families as the wildlife is at your front door. We had cockatoos, rosellas and kookaburras on the rails of the front veranda. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back.

This is the third time we have stayed at Mountain Hideaway and each time we have been extremely happy with the facilities and especially with the little extras provided in the kitchen which made life easier. The beds were comfortable and the bedding and linen in perfect condition.

We have just stayed at Mountain Hideaway and loved our time at this great house. The house is in a great location which is close to the centre of town,easy walking distance and is set up to relax and unwind.We found the owners great to deal with from taking our booking and asking questions on the property and the surrounds of this great location.We love Halls Gap and now have a great place to stay when we come back,book this great place and enjoy your time.

We had a fantastic time at Mountain Hideaway and the Grampians. We saw wildlife every day and even had a kangaroo come right up to the door of the house to say hello. There is so much to see and do in the Grampians, and Mountain Hideaway was a great place to stay and relax.

Perfect Home away from HOME: accomodation has EVERYTHING such as needle and thraed to mend my botton on my shirt, extra dishes and paper towels and sufficient dishwahing liquid etc. plenty of blankets,sheets, and firewood.GAmes to keep the kids busy, lARGE SELCTION OF dvdS, BBQ very clean and presentable. plenty of kitchen utensils including milk and oil etc. Lovely Bathroom, spa and double shower...I can go on and on. vERY Highly recomended

Very thoughtfully presented and well appointed property, in pleasant surroundings, great view, delightful visiting wildlife. Only concern was the firmness of the mattresses that happened to be a big problem for me, but the remainder of the family coped well.

An absolutely brilliant spot. Everytime we thought it would be useful to have something (e.g. tomato sauce, cutting boards etc), we found it. So much thought and care has gone into this holiday house. It is very clean, comfortable and a great spot to stay. We would recommend it without hesitation.

Mountain Hideaway was amazing, very comfy and homely, i would recommend it to everyone.. It catered for my family very nicely.. My 3 year old son loved seeing all the wildlife come right up to the front door and sitting by the wood fire watching TV.. It is an amazing property. A very comfortable set-up and the small things like the DVD���s, Tea, coffee and books are very much appreciated. The kids loved the abundance of wildlife, even feeding some by hand. A very secluded, relaxing property which I highly recommend.

What a wonderful place and owners. We arrived in pouring rain and gusty winds and could not believe our eyes when we saw the accommodation. Fantastic!!!!! Our overseas visitors forgot about the rain and cold and thoroughly enjoyed the accommodation, the kangaroos,
cockies and rosellas. All 4 of us had a wonderful time. Once home there was a message that we had left 2 bags behind and Peter and Kerry went out of their way to get them to us as fast as they could. Great service and great people. We hope to visit again!

I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for accomdation in Halls Gap. The owners are lovely & great to communicate with. The cost per night/stay is affordable. The house is immaculately presented & caters for all of your needs right down to clothes washing/drying facilities. It just has everything. It is within walking distance to the town centre via a bitumised walking track. We had kangaroos & most beautiful birds at the front of the house most days. What an absolute delight to stay at Mountain Hideaway.
