  • Recommendations

  • "We loved this very relaxing and friendly environment. The cottage was great, the people very helpful, but the situation was just fantastic. I'm in Australia for another 14 months an would love to come back."
    Yvan, May 2009

  • "For us one of the nicest places in Australia! Relaxing athmosphere, wonderful view and surrounding, clean comfortable cottages and lovely owners!"
    Elisa, December 2008

  • "An amazing place. Suoer accommodation, the most perfect beach and more wildlife on the property than we have seen on our whole trip in Australia. Kangaroos, wallabies, birds and even two echidnas right outside our door. The owners were helpful whenever we needed anything. We reccomend Waves & Wildlife to one and all!"
    Elisa, November 2008

  • "We loved the view, the beach and being away from everything. I'd love to return in summer. Kids especially loved Paul's Place. Accomodation was great and reasonably priced especially compared to the ferry fare!"
    Vicki, October 2008

  • "Very relaxing holiday. Beautiful untouched location with a crystal clear beach nearby. Hosts were very kind and friendly allowing late check out. Nice clean accommodation, modern with lovely decor. Will definitely return."
    Ruth, January 2008

  • "Outstanding views, excellent beach with opportunities for bouldering the cliff, and central access to the best parts of the island. We saw kangaroos, wallabies, echidna, koalas, goanna, possums, sea lions, seals and penguins just by visiting various parts of the island. We stayed a week but could have stayed a month and not seen all the sights. Plenty of hiking trails, caves, cliffs and beaches to explore. The cottage was immaculately clean when we arrived and stocked with a fully outfitted kitchen. Our hosts were extremely kind and only a phone call away if we needed to ask a question. I travel all over Asia on business and stay in the finest hotels but when I think of places I might want to re-visit, Waves and Wildlife is always top on my list."
