Straddie Beach Cabin is a funky free-standing eco cabin (Shack 18) at the islands premier resort. Located @ beautiful Home Beach in Point Lookout, it is set in leafy natural surrounds and catering for singles and couples. It has everything needed to make your stay a pleasurable one, with most of the islands attractions nearby.
The stylish architect designed high-set 1 bedroom eco cabin offers a practical, as well as inspirational design, with a mezzanine bedroom featuring a queen size bed, is air-conditioned with open plan lounge/dining, modern kitchenette, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, TV/DVD/CD, plus BBQ on the new deck.
We recently added a great new deck (being the best deck of all cabins), new big-screen (50') plasma TV & home theatre (being the best such systems of any cabins) , new Foxtel service, new washing machine... to mention just a few! Other features include wireless internet @ reasonable rates, pool, gym and the great onsite Harlequin Cafe/Deli.
In the words of a recent guest: "We absolutely loved Stradbroke - our first visit and thought your beach shack was great, especially the deck which made it very private. It was a perfect place to stay. We would certainly ask for No 18 if we were to return".

Straddie has something for everyone incl. being a true nature lovers & photographers paradise. It offers scenic walks, scuba diving, whale & dolphin watching, adventure sports and activities, fishing, golf, Aboriginal cultural tours and demonstrations, bird watching, and much more. Its fine beaches would be some of the best in the country!
Listed as one of the world's most ecologically important wetlands, there are several freshwater lakes and lagoons to explore.

2 PERSON STAY
Apologies! We are usually all in favour of clear, straight forward pricing that includes the LOT! Under our normal system, fixed service costs (cleaning, linen, service fees, admin, etc) were absorbed by using a progressive pricing system were short term stays started with higher PER NIGHT charges that gradually reduced with the length of the stay.
Under the new Stayz pricing system, that is no longer possible, and as such we were forced to separate the fixed service costs into a separate SERVICE FEE. Pls note that the service fee is currently not fully cost-covering.
The new system however has the added benefit that you will receive an instant & accurate cost total at the time of enquiry followed by a formal quote in our personalized reply asap.
Low >>> Sun - Thu $80pn / Fri & Sat $100pn / Weekly $600. Service fee $100 per stay. Total weekly $700.
Mid >>> Sun - Thu $100pn / Fri & Sat $120pn / Weekly $740. Service fee $100 per stay. Total weekly $840.
High >>> Sun - Thu $130pn / Fri & Sat $160pn / Weekly $970. Service fee $100 per stay. Total weekly $1070.
Peak >>> Sun - Thu $160pn / Fri & Sat $200pn / Weekly $1200. Service fee $100 per stay. Total weekly $1300.
> Other optional extras:
- Extra persons (Pls note that we do operate with a 2 person standard & 3 person maximum stay. Bedding for the extra person would be BYO). Surcharges for extra persons may apply.
