Belmont Terrace is located in a quiet street within the heart of Newcastle's historic east-end and only a short stroll to Newcastle and Nobbys Beach,the Newcastle ocean baths,the harbour foreshore and city centre.
With lots of character and charm, the property itself dates from the early 1900's and has been restored to provide the comforts of modern conveniences,while retaining original features such as high pressed metal ceilings fireplaces(not in use),lead light windows and polished floors.
The terrace,which is on two levels Is an ideal place for families or friends whether it be for,holidays,sporting fixtures,weddings or just visiting Newcastle and all that it has to offer.
The upper floor contains 3 generous sized bedrooms,sleeping up to 5 people comfortably, bathroom with shower and bath and a separate toilet.
The main bedroom has a queen size bed, built in wardrobe and opens onto a sunny balcony. There are views down the Harbour and across to Stockton Beach. Boats can be seen coming in to Newcastle Harbour.
The second bedroom has 2 single beds, bedside drawer and desk and chair.
The third bedroom is the smallest bedroom and contains a double bed.
All beds have electric blankets in the winter months.
The front of the terrace opens into the lounge and dining area. This area has many of the original features such as open fireplaces, high pressed ornate ceilings and polished floors. While antiques have been used to inhance the period of the terrace, comfort has not been compromised, and the area is suited for 5 people.
Built -in bookcases provide a good range of books,games, and some toys.
A well appointed eat-in kitchen has all the modern appliances.
There is also a laundry with washing machine and drier, and another toilet.
A secure courtyard is ideal for outside living with BBQ and outdoor setting.It has an outdoor shower to wash off the sand after a day at the beach.
Parking is on street but we do provide one parking permit.
All linen is provided.
No smoking inside the terrace.
No pets allowed.
This property is a terrace and we live in a quiet street and we have great neighbors . We ask that people celebrating Bucks, Does, or Schoolies occasions not to apply.To families and friends we ask you to respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum
