Only one hour from Adelaide on the stunning Fleurieu Peninsula an island oasis awaits. The cottage has an open friendly atmosphere, at the forest's edge opposite the Murray River. In winter, enjoy the blaze of the combustion heater. In summer, get out on the river and splash around. Explore the forest or catch a Coorong cruise.

The cottage is located on the northern side of Karinga Park adjacent but separate to the Homestead. The large expanse of windows brings the outdoors inside.
It faces towards the Murray River with a backdrop of old forest.
Freshly renovated, it offers 3 stylishly appointed bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, modern kitchen with dishwasher and spacious open plan family/dine/living area. It is airconditioned and has a 68cm TV with DVD/video player.

All linen, bedding, bath towels, bbq gas, firewood & incidentals are supplied.

Once the location to a 1000-acre working dairy, the cottage is a welcome addition to compliment the stately stone residence of the Homestead. Imagine the boat pulling in to pick up the daily milk cans from the jetty.Don't wait for a reason to stay at Karinga Park.Come here and relax from the stress of normal routines. But also remember us for those important events like family reunions, birthdays, anniversaries, work retreats and catching up with friends. We look after you and are flexible. The cottage is available for Homestead groups with extra guests, conference and function overflow.

Only minutes from the River Port of Goolwa, a stay at Karinga Park Homestead can be as lay back or as active as you like. For those who love the finer things in life, the South Coast and Fleurieu Peninsula provide a relaxing opportunity to browse old-world antique and craft markets. Nearby, wine regions of Currency Creek and Langhorne Creek are a must for connoisseurs along with a visit to Angus Wines within walking distance. We are at the gateway to the distinctive landscape of The Coorong, with an abundance of birdlife. Relax watching the different birds enjoying our gardens. Feed the friendly magpies. Only a short drive away is the coastal resort town of Victor Harbor, home of Southern Right Whales and fairy penguins.

SLEEPING CONFIGURATION:

Suitable for 2 families or 3 couples:

Main with KING bed
Bedroom 2 has queen bed
Bedroom 3 has double with single bunk over and separate single - with ensuite

INCLUSIONS:

All linen, bedding and bath towels are provided. Incidentals included are dishwashing supplies, toilet paper, soap.

No cleaning required - simply leave neat, dishes done, bbq cleaned and rubbish placed in bins provided on site.

On Sunday check out is extended to 12pm.
For an additional $30 this can be extended to 3pm (subject to availability)

RATES:

$165 per night for 2 adults with 2 children or 1 couple.
Additional adults $15 per night each
Additional children (1-18yrs) $8.50 per night each
Maximum nightly rate is $225
Stay 7 nights and pay for ONLY 6.

There is a single Saturday night surcharge of $30 on the above rates when there are more than 2 guests.

BOOKING:

Deposit of 20% is required and may be paid by credit card, cheque or direct credit. Balance is due 14 days prior to arrival.

Cancellation Policy:

More than 30 days prior to arrival is subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of deposit.
Between 30 and 14 days prior to arrival is subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of deposit.
Less than 14 days prior to arrival is subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of booking value.
