Reinga has the best views in town of the rivermouth and ocean! It has magnificent views from both front and back decks overlooking the ocean, the rivermouth and Ben Boyd National Park. Experience the sun rise over the ocean without leaving your bed, see the whales and dolphins from the deck and each day watch the sea eagles as they soar up and down the river.
This is a very private house where the only noise you hear is the sound of the ocean at night. Sit on the back deck at night and see a million stars.
The house faces north so in summer you get shade on the front deck when the sun warms up and in winter you have sun on the deck all day. Perfect!
Kangaroos bounce through the property each day and if you are lucky a shy echidna may appear.
So Much to do so Close...
In less than five minutes walk you can be on the beach. This is a great place to get fit as you decide which activity to do next: walk along the beach (all the way to Merimbula if you are feeling energetic!), surfing, swimming, golf, bowling, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, horse riding, boating, bike riding, sailing etc.
Or you can just sit on the beach and read a book or stay right where you are on the deck and have another cup of tea instead!
It is a short walk down to the cafe to get the morning papers and milk, 2kms into Pambula town for all supplies or 7kms into Merimbula for the best coffee on the south coast, restaurants, movies, shopping, pubs, clubs etc. Accessible by road or bike track.
So What's in the House?
The house is very light with views from nearly every room. There are 2 bedrooms (Queen bed in main and bunk room with single/ double bed). The lounge/ kitchen is spacious with large windows overlooking river and ocean. Facilities include 32" LCD TV, DVD, CD player. microwave. Covered front deck has Weber Q BBQ and dining setting. Back deck has outdoor setting for six and market umbrella for shade in summer. Newly renovated bathroom and separate bath for young children. Fully equipped kitchen.
Three separate eating places - you decide where you want to eat (inside, outside, sun or shade!) but there's no escaping that view! Carport beneath.
You need JavaScript enabled to select dates on the property calendar. A booking/enquiry can still be made via the "Request a booking or make an enquiry" form.
Wonderful views from every room in the house.
We loved staying here in this home away from home. I don't think that the photos taken on this website do the place justice! 5 min walk to the surf beach and a quick drive into town for supplies or a horse ride if you like!
Really love this place.

lovely place. Very clean. Beautiful views, great location. We had a really relaxing break. Sue and Boyce provided us with lots of useful information about where to walk, shop, eat etc. We recommend the Pambula Bakery - the one next door to the Thai restuarant - it's got the best lentil pies and bread we're had. Thanks.

Loved this place. The views were magic. The kangaroos on the property great. A nice short walk to the river. Quick drive or longer walk to the surf beach. Our baby slept longer than he's ever slept and we enjoyed just hanging out in the living room reading books and doing jigsaws. Much relaxing. Would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic week staying at Reinga. The views from the house are incredible and we were so excited to see whales from the verandah almost every day! The river mouth and surf beach are only a few minutes walk down the hill and were simply superb in all weather - such a beautiful spot - we can't wait to go back. We stayed at the house with our two daughters (2 and 6) and they loved the place as much as we did. Many meal times interrupted by us jumping up to grab the binoculars as had seen whales or sea eagles! Lots of kangaroos and a resident blue tongue lizard. Recommend the bike ride to Pambula and the Wild Rye bakery a must! Even saw killer whales on our whale watching tour - but now just boasting!!!
We will be back. Thanks again :)

Second year in a row, we love the place, whales from the balcony, Kangaroos and Echidnas in the backyard. Some nice Dusky Flathead, Trevally and Tailor fishing in the river, and a swimming Kangaroo at Severs Beach! If you are walking in the bush - watch out for the Ticks. If you know what you are looking for, there is also an abundance of native orchids to be seen walking up the river.

Just got back home from our stay at Reinga and the consensus has been that it was one of the most amazing holidays of our lives. The house was perfect, and accommodated the 4 of us easily. The view from the living room if the lovely surrounds was amazing and the beach, just a stroll away, was always amazing to swim in. Not to mention the vast array of wildlife we saw, from kangaroos and echidnas in the front garden to a seal that decided to come and join us in the water. An outstanding spot for a holiday and an excellent house, Would go back in a flash...

Not only does Reinga have the best views in town, it is a very comfortable and well equipped house that was an pleasure to stay at. Great for small children as well with the enclosed front balcony and bath tub! Beautiful beaches, great walks and a fantastic local bakery. My 3 year old niece also caught her first fish! A most relaxing and enjoyable time was had by all. Looking forward to staying again.

My wife, two young children and I had a ball. "Can we go to the beach Daddy" was a common request. The house was lovely with a great view of the ocean. The fishing down at the local beach was superb, with Bream and Tailor on our menu just about every night (of course topped up with local oysters from Merimbula and Mussels straight off the trawler at Eden) It was Great!

What a fantastic relaxing break - the views are to die for. Quiet location - walk to beach. Saw dolphins in the bay and the incredible experience of watching whales put on a display as the passed the headland. Kids loved the wildlife and kangaroos in the gardens. Day tripping was a breeze from Eden through to Merimbua, Tathra & Bega. We'll definitely be back!

This was our first visit to Pambula Beach and "Reinga" on a family holiday and a positive experience for both us and our young daughters who were absolutely thrilled when they could see the "all the water" from the large windows in the lounge and kitchen areas. Reinga is a lovely, quiet, relaxing, traditional beach house that provides all the amenities of a home away from home and more, the photos on the web site capture the setting and fantastic view beautifully. Reinga was perfectly situated for us with the river mouth, childrens playground and beach only a five minute walk down the road and Merimbula a five minute drive away by car. Our evening walks down to see the kangaroos feeding on the reserve also delighted the girls. We already miss the sound of the waves breaking and the glorious sunrises and hope to return in the not too distant future.
