Farmhouse History

The farmhouse was built around at the turn of last century. The convict road gangs who built the Great North Road used the site during the early1800s; a plaque relating to the Road can be seen near the bridge outside the main gate.

Close yet far enough away to rest and escape

Cessnock and Singleton are about 20 mins away – both have a population of 20,000 and all your shopping needs can be catered for. There are many cellar doors operating in the area and there are some restaurants available with many more in the nearby Pokolbin area. There is a general store in the village – about 8kms – turn right out of the gate.
