Want to go fishing/or take a walk

Hawks Nest is one of the main gateways to Myall Lakes National Park, a network of interconneted lakes and rivers. The lakes are superbly equipped for recreational boating and fishing.
Look for koalas in the reseve along Kingfisher avenue.
Walk to the top of Yacaba Head which guards the northern approach to Port Stephens - but be prepared for a tough climb.
Dolphins frequent an area just offshore at Dolphin Hole.
