This is a spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with 2 queen beds
and 1 double bed, which can accommodate up to 6 persons,
based on twin share. There is also an extra single bed in the study,
just in case it's needed.
PORTA-COT with linens and high chair available on request at no extra charge.
Cool in summer and warm in winter with ducted evaporative airconditioning / heating.
The 2 car garage at the rear of the property is quite secure,
with remote controlled roller-doors.
The home has absolutely everything you need for a great relaxing stay, - and more importantly, for a good nights sleep.
BEDDING is of a very high standard akin to what you would expect to find in
a 5 star Hotel. They are very comfortable.
We have thought of all the little things that you wouldn't normally see in a holiday rental right down to the bake-ware for making cakes if that's your thing.
The OUTDOOR, BBQ and patio area opens onto a garden view, ideal for that romantic outdoor candlelit dinner or also great for those quiet times when you want to sit outside with a good book and just relax the day away.
It's within an easy walking distance to both bus and train transport & for convenience shopping there is a Friendly IGA 7 day Supermarket only about five minutes walk away. Foodland is approx 2kms.
**SHOPPING BAGS / trolley are supplied, you will find these in the storage area under the stairs** In SA it is necessary that you either take your own shopping bags or purchase at the checkout.
(If driving, the Centro Shopping Centre with Coles, Woolworths, Big W, specialty shops and a Cinema is located just down Torrens Rd toward the beach 4kms away on the right.)
Walk 5 mins in the other direction towards the City is the fabulous Bombay Bicycle Club.
This is a fabulous Upmarket Indian Themed Hotel & Restaurant, definitely worth a visit. (Listen for the sounds of the Jungle when you enter the foyer and the restrooms) They also have a very comfortable gaming lounge with large sofa lounges for bigger groups with tea & coffee facilities as well as a fully equipped bar.
Somewhere else to dine just a little further away but still in Brompton - why not try the renovated Brompton Park Hotel in First St. or the Excelsior Hotel in nearby Coglin St. which has an excellent Steak menu. Best to book at these hotels.
If you enjoy swimming, within walking distance is the Adelaide Aquatic Centre. There is a gym, spa's, sauna's, cafeteria and a variety of pools. It is surrounded by beautiful parklands and has a great playground if you have children. (The rates at the pool are very reasonable for non member visits, just pay as you go.)
Or if you prefer other sports, maybe a round of Golf, take a short drive and you will find the Prestigous North Adelaide Golf Club.
Or perhaps the Tennis on Memorial Drive closer to the city. This is located next to "The Next Generation Gym" a huge vrey upmarket gym complex with pool, spa, sauna, squash centre, pilates groups, cafe and bar.
Right next door to the Tennis and Next Generation Gym is the famous Adelaide Oval Entrance to the Cricket.
If you perhaps prefer the beach, it is only a 15 minute drive or so, depending on which beach you would like to go to. Glenelg, is just a little futher but very popular as it has a lot of entertainment options for both children and adults.
If you would like to take the tram to Glenelg via Adelaide City Centre. The Adelaide Entertainment Centre Tram Stop. is about a 15 min walk to the Port Rd end of East St. You will find the stop is in the centre median strip on Port Rd. ( just to the left of East St.)

THIRD BEDROOM has double bed with luxury pillowtop mattress.
** Please note all bedrooms and bathrooms are upstairs ** but we have placed an extra single bed in the downstairs study should anyone have difficulty negotiating stairs.
ENSUITE BATHROOM has full sized bath, separate shower, vanity, mirror, toilet, hairdryer, Hairspray, Shampoo/Conditioner, Facial Wipes for makeup removal,bathroom scales, 2 non slip mats for bath / shower if needed.
2ND BATHROOM adjacent 2nd & 3rd. bedrooms has shower, vanity,mirror, toilet, heated towel rack, Hairdryer, Curling Wand and Hair Straightener. Hairspray, Facial wipes for makeup removal.

For great "Pub Meals" - you might like to try the Seaton Hotel on Tapleys Hill Rd or The Birkenhead Hotel down at Port Adelaide - These meals are of a very high standard and not overpriced. These two hotels are so popular you definitely have to book even on week days.
Melbourne St. Precinct - Hotels and restaurants 2.5kms
The Parade at Norwood - Good Shopping - Cinemas and more excellent restaurants, plus the very popular casual cafe style of dining at Bongiornos and others. (If you are a smoker, then Bongiornos might be for you. As well as their indoor cafe, they have an outdoor sidewalk eating area which is heated in winter.)
Looking for somewhere to go on a Friday night - try the refurbished upmarket Bath Hotel on the Parade at Norwood - very popular - age range from 25 onwards. Parking can be difficult here - Look for the offstreet (P) parking stations signs if you can't find an easy park close by.
Gouger Street Adelaide - very popular for great restaurants and hotels and here you will also find Chinatown along with
The Adelaide Central Market. There is plenty of inexpensive parking available at the Adelaide Central Market.
Upmarket Bar/ Restaurant try the Mesa Lunga Tapas Restaurant and Sangria Bar next door on the corner of Morphett & Gouger St.
Then a nice little retro chic cocktail lounge at 268 Morphett (close to the Mesa Lunga) is the Lotus Lounge with DJ's on weekends.
