This classic beach house was modernized 6 years ago. It features a large gas kitchen complete with stone benches, stainless appliances and double draw dishwasher . This area opens out to a fully enclosed alfresco dining/entertaining area with gas BBQ. The main home has reverse cycle air-conditioning/heating and comprises of 3 bedrooms, the master with a king-size bed and sliders out to the deck. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and the 3rd bedroom 1 single with the option for a 2nd fold-out guest bed.There is one open-plan bathroom inside the main home, a 2nd bathroom in the studio and a 3rd outdoor hot "beach shower" plus separate WC. A Japanese-inspired "Bath House" is located in a private corner of the rear yard. It has a deep 2-person bath and a convenient shower next to it, the perfect spot to unwind in the evening.
A spacious combined living/dining area is located at the front of the home, complete with a large plasma screen TV with Foxtel. A 2nd smaller open-plan living/sitting room is off the kitchen ensuring that everyone has their own space.
Just 5 metres off the back deck is the fully self-contained Cabana/ 4th bedroom. This Studio is an ideal teenage or parents retreat and has a queen size bed, private shower and toilet and open-plan sitting area with LCD TV and PlayStation.
Around the side of the home is a tiled Surf Board Room and change area complete with hot shower facilities and separate toilet, perfect for returning from the beach.
Set in a family friendly suburb this is a place for a quiet holiday and BBQs with family and friends. A fire-pit ("Brad Pit with Frankenstools") in the rear yard is great for informal social occasions all year round. To respect the environment there is an expectation that there are no parties and no pets in this home, which the owners share for only a couple of months each year.

Blue Sea Beach Cottage is close enough to Manly to be convenient yet far enough away from its hustle and bustle to feel like you can totally relax, the best of both worlds!
Buses depart just 3 doors down taking you to Manly or Warringah Mall in approx. 15 minutes. From Manly, hop on a ferry and you'll be in Sydney's CBD in 25 minutes.
To keep the kids happy the owners can provide bikes, surfboards, scooters and skateboards (plus ramp), Fox for Kids, PlayStation with a selection of games, plus a great range of DVD's (please advise at time of booking). A portable cot and high chair are also available, upon request, at no extra cost to you.
Dining table and settings for 8 mean that you can enjoy long meals, kick back and enjoy the alfresco dining area with BBQ, the conversation, and a "welcome package " selection of complimentary beer and wines provided for you by the owners.
