Description

Our property is both child & dog friendly. We have 2 large kennels in the backyard which is fully fenced. The house has all mod cons. We have also catered for baby - there is a baby bath, high chair, porta cot, kiddies table & chairs etc. There is a covered entertainment/bbq area in the backyard with outdoor furniture. The house has reverse cycle air conditioning

Location

Our property is a 10 min walk (3 min drive) to Bagnalls Beach (Baggies) which is dog friendly and off leash. 3 min drive to Dutchies Beach which is terrific for young children and only a 10 min walk to Nelson Bay shopping centre, marina etc. 8 min drive to Salamander Shopping Plaza.

Local Attractions

There are many attractions for all ages, the beach, dolphin and whale watch, surfing, boating, water slides, ferry trips.
Lots of family friendly things to do. The beautiful Hunter Valley Winers are about 1 hours drive away.

"Just to let you know that our family had a great time and thank you for the use of your property. Kyla loved Bagnalls beach and made a few acquaintances with the local dogs. She even intervened in a cricket game game being played at the beach by swimming out to fetch the ball accidentally batted 20m into the water. "We had a great time, including our dogs. The house is great, clean, comfortable and tidy. Great location not far to walk to shops and club and doggie beach. Our dogs had never seen the beach before and they had such a good time. Our dogs loved the time they spent their and made themselves at home and were quite relaxed. The surprising thing also was no previous doggie smells inside which was lovely. Being a dog friendly home I was expecting that, but it was so nice there wasnt. The kitchen was fully equipped and you dont need to bring anything. The washing machine and dryer came in very handy. My only suggestion is if you have small dogs is to bring a wire pen that can be opened up into a wire panel, as one side fence has pool fencing. I enquired before I left home regarding the fencing and I was able to bring a wire pen and place it in front of the fence, so no escapee's LOL. There was plenty of room to park at least 4 cars. Thanks for allowing us to stay and enjoy a great week of fun in the sun, with our dogs. Cheers Amanda"
