Guest Reviews

  • "We had a wonderful family Christmas at Beach Haven. The house was very well equipped and clean and the barbeque fantastic! The beach is great for kids, ours loved playing in the sand and at times venturing into the water! Fishing from the beach was also good, we caught plenty of flatheads, along with other varieties of fish. Some evenings we even watched dolphins swimming past. I would certainly recommend Beach Haven to anyone wanting to stay in this part of Tasmania."

  • "Our two families had a great time at Beach Haven. The property was very well set up with everything we needed including great magazines and board games. It looked deceptively small from the outside but was spacious and roomy inside with plenty of room for us all. The location was outstanding and we had a great time building sandcastles on the beach. We are looking forward to revisiting."

  • "Superb beach house in a pristine slice of Tasmania - a place to get away from it all! Beautiful sheltered beach with white sand and turquiose water. Even though it is less than 2 hours from Hobart, Beach Haven has an isolated beauty that induces rest and relaxation. The managers of the property have thought of everything, from understated beach themed decorating to a fantastic BBQ and (for once) adequate numbers of crockery and cutlery. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back next year for a longer stint at this magical spot. Bron "

  • "What an wonderful and welcome surprise this property was! For our family evenly split between 'beach bums' and 'explorers' this was an ideal holiday location. The beach is lovely, (not a surf beach) but shallow and great to swim in. The house is located in a cul de sac of beach shacks, down a track from the main road to Nubeena. We found lots of wildlife at night - Tassie Devils, Wombats, Wallaroos, and rabbits galore! The house is ideally located for access to the built archaeology of the area, but be ready for winding undulating roads! Make sure you have a full tank of petrol and ALL your supplies when you come here - shopping is not an easy venture - but eating out surely is - local eateries are all worth exploring - but a beach BBQ is hard to beat! This place is lovely -enjoy! We didn't want to leave!"
