The coastal village of Bawley Point, renown for it's surfing, fishing and beautiful beaches, lies about 20 minutes drive south of Ulladulla and 25 minutes north of Batemans Bay. A 3 hr drive from Sydney CBD or 2hr 15min drive from Canberra will get you there.
'Mervs'
A pavilion style arrangement of buildings combines to become the unique house known locally as the 'Mervs'.
Located in a sheltered position about 200 metres from Bawley Beach and about 250 metres from Cormorant Beach, the Mervs can accommodate up to 9 guests in 4 bedrooms. Queen beds occupy 2 ensuite style bedrooms, 2 singles beds(combine to a queen) occupy another bedroom and the fourth bedroom contains a single bed and bunk beds.
Connected by a large sunny deck with sliding screens for privacy and security, each pavilion contains 2 bedrooms, with a dine-in kitchen in one pavilion and a lounge room in the other. A TV in each pavilion allows flexibility for guests (in other words.... to get away from the kids!)
Please note we don't provide bed linen or towels, and don't allow pets unless by special arrangement.
Prices are for a maximum of 9 people, with a maximum of 6 adults.

Fantastic place to stay! We stayed with our 18 month child and will definitely recommend Bawley Mervs to other families. Beach, cafe and playground within easy walking distance. Very relaxing weekend, we only wish we could have stayed longer.

What a great place for a relaxing break! Bawley Mervs is fantastically equipped and is a very comfortable house for a couple of families to stay in. Only a short walk to the beautiful beaches of Bawley Point. We wish we could have stayed longer and look forward to returning again someday. Alan and Brigette are very kind and generous hosts and helped to make our visit very enjoyable. Thanks again!

Bawley Merv's is one of the most relaxing and homely places our family have visited and the added bonus of dog-friendly accommodation is perfect. The pavilion style accommodation works well for groups with more than 2 adults. It's great for a laid-back holiday.

Thanks for a lovely holiday Bawley Mervs! All four adults and four children had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for toddlers with plenty of toys and no clutter so we didn't have to worry about the kids destroying the house or hurting themselves. The two sections of the house make it ideal for two families. Great location - short walk to the beach, cafe and playground. Also many thanks to the owners who were helpful, friendly and trustworthy.

This is a really lovely cottage and makes for a great weekend away! It is beautifully positioned close to the beach in a quiet steet, and the 2 sections of the house give all the guests enough space and bathroom facilities for a very comfortable stay.

We LOVED our weekend away and the house was perfect. It is ideal for two families that wish to hang out together but need to have separate bathrooms and sleeping areas. Such a great convenience to have kids cutlery and plates, toys (a great discovery, bought us all a few hours peace!) and I even spotted a porta cot (we had our own but so lovely of you to provide one). We are already planning more get aways to the excellent Bawley Mews!

What a fabulous house for the family! The interconnecting pavilions work a treat, the kids had a wonderful time in their 'own' house.....and Bawley Point, wow! I had forgotten just how beautiful it is and how spoilt for choice you are with all those beaches within walking distance. We'll be back.

'Bawley Mervs' is coastal accommodation at it's best! It is cleverly designed, and nestled in a beautiful and private bush setting. We found the house clean, spacious and very well equipped. It is ideally located within close walking distance to beaches, and a fantastic little cafe that serves great coffee and delicious gourmet pizza. Our family will be back for sure!

Fantastic layout and so well stocked. Our group of 6 adults spent the weekend and had a wonderful time (albeit it raining the whole time and us not actually getting to the beach). The place is clean, comfortable and quiet - just what we were after. We recommend it, whether you have an active weekend planned, or end up spending the nights in playing board games and the mornings lazing about. We will be back again, thank you.

Our extended family had a wonderful, relaxed time - everything was comfy without being too fussy, so we didn't have to stress about the kids damaging anything! The pavilion arrangement was fantastic, as our kids slept up one end while we socialised in the other.

What A lovely holiday destination, great for a young family, plenty of gorgeous beaches, great for fishing and exploring. The Mervs is a great house to enjoy the above, its clean and well equipt and has lovely hosts to help you with your stay. Great set-up for two family would recommend to freinds.

we had a great time at bawley mervs. it is a funky cottage that is close to the beach and very lovely to hang out in. the set out allows for lots of privacy if multiple families are staying and the kitchen is better equiped than our own! we will be back again.

fantastic place! love the design, the owners have thought of everything. Huge deck for lazing around, nice green outlook, spacious and well equipped kitchen, short walk through bush to beaches, and cafe with great coffee just down the road. Few places have a layout that makes a trip away with friends and children easy, but this place does. we had a great time, and will be back.

Had a wonderful stay. The arrangement of the house as 2 separate buildings connected by a deck is excellent. We had a child asleep on one side, while adults socialised on the other. Excellent location too. Private, peaceful surroundings and very short walk to beach, or the lovely Bawley Cafe.
