Spacious and welcoming property.
Shabby chic and easy living.
Could definitely do with new sofas but comfy beds and good showers.
Fantastic location.

Fantastic house, with 6 adults and 2 children there was plenty of space for everyone and the perfect location for a week long family catch up. Loved that our dog could come on holiday with us, she had a brilliant time at the dog beach twice a day! The easy walk to town and the dog beach meant we could leave the car and walk everywhere. The hot shower outside was perfect after coming back from the beach, especially with a very sandy 3 year old! Definitely a fantastic place to stay!!

Fabulously relaxing setting, which was an easy stroll to town and beach but w3hich also felt very secluded as the communal and entertaining areas are at the back of the house.
We cooked most meals in and the kitchen was well stocked and very clean.
Have recommended to friends planning a trip to Byron.

Loved the Heritage House, with 7 adults and 3 children, we never felt cramped or in each others way. Plenty of space and different areas to retreat to. The house was beautiful and made for a very relaxed holiday (love the hot outside shower so no need to bring sandy bodies into the house!). Bonus was the location and not having to get in the car for the best part of the holiday. Will definitley be back again.

The Heritage House is great, with lots of character and plenty of space for everyone to spread out and do their own thing. Highlights would be BBQ nights - everyone hanging out on the balcony whilst we prepare dinner then moving inside to the huge dining table for a fantastic meal. We also really enjoyed the fresh grapes!
Other positive points are the dual-shower and claw foot bath, sunbaking in the back yard as well as the easy walk back into town (just the right distance to do a little sobering up on the way home too!) We'd love to come back :)

We came as a group to celebrate our 21st birthday and loved the heritage house. It was in the best location so we could walk everywhere - no money wasted on taxis or people left out as designated drivers! The pictures on the website do not do this place justice! It was so much bigger than expected and everyone slept comfortably on single, double and king beds! Big bathrooms for us all with privacy and space. plenty of space inside for us all to sit and play together (a group of 10!) and enjoy a bbq dinner.

WOW - what a wonderful house. The house was just perfect in every way. It was sparkling clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and had everything that you could possibly need when visiting Byron (including an acoustic guitar)...
We also loved the fact that it was close to the CBD so we could walk everywhere.
I would definitely recommend Heritage House to all and can't wait to stay there again. We all had a wonderful time in Byron - thank-you Heritage House!

Thank your for a fantastic experience at the Heritage House in Byron Bay over the last weekend. Having stayed at 48 Shirley Street for the four days, we found it absolutely perfect! Close to town, near the beach, comfortable and appropriately priced... we could not have asked for a better place to stay.
Thank you particularly for your accommodating approach; helping us secure the booking relatively last minute and allowing Amy and I to leave our bags at the house after the set check-out time.
You'll be pleased to know we took several precautions to avoid neighbourly complaint and we'll be hoping to see you again next year... if not sooner!

Cracking house, beautifully done but relaxing in nature....great back garden (partic if you live in Hong Kong and the sight of grass excites you). So many places to explore....back porch, front porch, side garden.....the crash out pad near the side door...rate the dual shower in the ensuite too.
Loved it!!
