  • "This place was absolutely breathtaking! It was everything I imagined a getaway could ever be...a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of home life and work, to just relax and recharge the batteries, doing what you love! In my case, I got to do some art, and my friend was able to do some much needed writing. It was beautiful and peaceful....I would not only recommend this place, but also definitely come back again. :D"

  • "This home is just PERFECT for a get away! The Dam it is situated on has a lovely hour long walk around it, and a awesome view of it from the back verandah. Kangaroos will meet and greet you along with many wild birds. It is also well located to easily get to either Pemberton or Manjimup for many wonderful bush walks throughout the local National Parks. The owners were VERY helpful and accomidating. This is EXTREMELY well priced for what you get! I too will be back soon for sure! Georgina"

  • "A wonderful place to stay. Your house is well equipped and inviting. Beautiful views from the balcony and wildlife visiting. The area has to be one of the best places in the state, with a range of activities covering all tastes. A week was not long enough so we are looking forward to our next relaxing and enjoyable holiday in your special forest retreat. Thank you."

  • "We have just spent 2 wonderful days at Forest Lake Retreat in Quinninup. The house has a wonderful setting in the forest with a view through the trees to the lake. we have some amazing photos of green parrots and other small birds, yet to be identified, and of kangaroos eating fallen apples just below the verandah. The house was very spacious and comfortable with everything you could possibly need and more! Including an excellent bar-b-que. It was a good position to travel down to Walpole for the day and visit some incredible beaches. We will take back to Spain some wonderful memories and photos of this perfect retreat. Thank you Liz and hope to visit your hide away again sometime in the future. I'm sure our son, Dan, will be planning a return trip from his home in Perth. saludos Jeni Rabjohns"
