Knuckey Lagoons Villa offers luxury private accommodation in a unique and tranquil wetlands environment only 10 minutes from Darwin City, the International Airport and Casuarina Shopping Centre and within walking distance of Crocodylus Park.
Set amongst the tropical gardens of an 8 hectare (20 acres) property on the outskirts of Darwin, this exclusive and private villa, (accommodating only 2 guests at one time) has uninterrupted views of the Knuckey Lagoons wildlife protection area. The lagoons are a major breeding area for the Territory's abundant bird life and have significant populations of magpie geese, long neck turtles, frogs and aquatic wildlife.

Villa

The villa has been designed for the tropics with wide verandas and surrounding louvred windows. It provides comfortable living with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, fridge, TV, DVD player DVD library, microwave oven, tea/coffee making facilities and your own private pool. Kitchenware, linen and pool towels are provided. A tranquil, shaded barbecue area overlooks the lagoon.
Breakfast is supplied and will be provided in the villa. Other meals are available on request or take advantage of the wide selection of restaurants in Darwin, Casuarina or Palmerston.
Native bushland, tropical orchards and gardens ensure unmatched privacy and seclusion for the maximum of two guests whilst they relax on the veranda or in the garden or pool.

Lagoon

Tracks around the lagoons provide walking trails for those that are interested in bush walking or taking in the lagoon life. In the evenings enjoy the colours of our magnificent sunsets.
Experience the seasonal moods of Knuckey Lagoons. The wet season sees the lagoons fill and expand as the spectacular monsoonal rains and storms sweep across the Territory and then during the cooler clear days of the Dry season hundreds of birds flock to the lagoons as the water recedes.
Knuckey Lagoon Villa is also an ideal base for those who want to be involved in the excitement of the Darwin Cup carnival and V8 Super Cars racing or for joining fishing charters or tours to Kakadu and Litchfield Parks.
Bookings are a minimum of 3 nights.
