Berowra Waters Inn - newly re-opened and re-appointed by Dietmar Sawyere (Level 41 in Sydney). Superb fine dining.
Waterview Restaurant - at the Berowra Waters Marina, western side - has a great seafood smorgasbord on Friday and Saturday nights (sometimes includes all the wine you can drink!)
The Bistro is open for fish and chips, great coffee, and weekend breakfasts - it is on the ground level below Waterview Restaurant.
Berowra Waters Garden House is on the opposite side of the river, right next to the car ferry. They have a mixture of Korean, Japanese and Australian a la carte menu.
Peat's Bite Restaurant is about 15 minutes downriver, accessible only by boat. Absolutely worth a visit. Go to .
Kayak - use the double kayak to explore little creeks, bays, access isolated beaches, get fit, just relax....
Fishing - some fishing gear provided for the novice, serious fishermen should bring their own. Catch bream from the pontoon. Bigger fish further down river.
Bushwalking - part of the Great North Walk passes through Berowra Waters. Climb the bush steps to the escarpment opposite the house and look down on the river system.
Bird watching - many birds come to the house daily to be fed - lorikeets, crimson rosellas, brown cuckoo doves, wonga pigeons, king parrots, galahs, bronzewings, kookaburras - also many tiny birds - finches, wrens, wattle birds, honeyeaters - feed on the native plants in the garden.
Movies - collection of DVD's (also children's videos)
Eating - really well-equipped new kitchen, plus big BBQ, plus use of everything in the pantry.
Relaxing - no owner on-site, complete privacy, hot outdoor spa, lovely sunny deck adjoining bush reserve, limited (or no) mobile phone access!!
