A modern 2-bedroom apartment located near the corner of Nott and Rouse Streets, just 200 metres to Port Melbourne swimming beach, Station Pier Ferry Terminal, the city tram/light rail and just around the corner from Bay Streets trendy shops, cafes, pubs, etc. It's perfect for couples, families, or friends visiting Melbourne.

Port Melbourne is the closest beach to Melbourne's city centre, with the city being only 10 minutes away by tram/light rail. For sightseeing, you can easily access all Melbourne's attractions. In just 10 minutes you can be in the city at Southern Cross Train Station, the free city circle tram, Crown Casino Entertainment Complex, Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centres, the Yarra River, Telstra Dome, Victoria Harbour, the Docklands precinct, etc., etc., etc. The Port Melbourne tram number 109 takes you up Collins Street and straight through the heart of the city.

The apartment itself has 2-bedrooms with one central bathroom having shower over bath and laundry facilities, including washing machine and clothes dryer. The kitchen overlooks the open-plan living/dining area and is fully-equipped with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, stove/oven and a microwave oven. The living/dining area is furnished with a 6-seater dining table and chairs, coffee table, television/entertainment unit and a 3-seater sofa lounge, which converts to a sofa bed for a fifth person. The living room also contains a 76cm widescreen/flatscreen LCD television and surround sound home theatre system. Both bedrooms have built-in wardrobes and both have windows offering fresh air and lots of natural light.

Special features include; a secure balcony with 4-seater outdoor setting, intercom door entry system, lift access, and remote control access to one basement car parking space.

Internet is available at the public library on Bay Street.

We really loved the apartment and it suited our needs perfectly. It was well set up for self catering and in a good location also for eating out and close to transport. The only negative was the lack of a phone which made making any local calls a real mission. We would like to have been able to make enquiries for event bookings and other tourist information without having to go out and look for a public telephone.

Great location. Loved Port Melbourne. Great walk to St Kilda. Convenient to everything Melbourne has to offer. THe kids loved getting the tram everywhere. The apartment was warm and cosy. Clean and well appointed. A great holiday - the kids did not want to leave.

We were relieved to stay out of the CBD, Melbourne's beaches often don't get the wrap they deserve. With public transport at your doorstep and the best of both the retail and natural worlds, this Port Melbourne apartment is a great base to take in the trendy surrounds.

For the price, its a give away. It was just home away. The apartment was neat and tidy, plus everything to maintain that was provided.

Security was not an issue, very secure! if you need accomoadtion in melbourne, GO FOR IT!!!!!

This was the perfect place to base ourselves for our recent trip to Melbourne. The apartment was perfectly located to enjoy all that Melbourne has to offer. The apartment itself had everything we needed and more. Travelling with 2 x small children is never easy, however we found staying in this apartment and having everything we needed made our trip even more enjoyable. We will definately stay again.
