We booked this cute little 1860's cottage which caught our eye from the photographs, and offered everything we were looking for for a week away to visit family, but didn't bargin for all the little added extras provided, the homely feel & the warmth and hospitality of Alida & David. We have been to Adelaide 4 times before but had never discovered this attractive side of the city before which is within walking distance of the city, it had a cosmopolitan feel with it's cafe's, restaurants and boutique style shops around the corner in Melbourne Street.

Situated amongst the historical architecture of North Adelaide, Lion Cottage is close to the eateries of Melbourne & O'Connell Streets, also the surrounding parklands & is within easy walking distance of the City.There is a free community bus service to & from the City & the Lion Apartments across the street are a pick-up & drop off point for the major coach tours.The attention to detail by the owner makes Lion Cottage a true 'home away from home'.

Conveniently located close to central Adelaide in a quaint setting. There were some very nice touches provided such as a bowl of fruit, biscuits, orange juice, milk ample reading material etc.
