  • "Thanks, Liz. We think your townhouse is terrific - excellent facilities in a really convenient location. With plenty of space and absolutely everything provided, we had no hesitation in booking again for September, after our first visit in June 2011. What a find!"

  • "What a wonderful place to stay. We were so close to everything the shops, transport and eateries. The house is so well equiped. Liz was wonderful and a great host. We will definately be recommending this place to our friends and will stay again if going to Melbourne. "

  • "Couldnt agree more with the previous comments. Whats not to like about this place? Modern, spacious townhouse with a light-filled courtyard. Very well-appointed. Lock-up garage. Quiet, wide street, but only metres from the Swan Street shopping strip. Easy access, via tram and train, to the citys attractions. The plentiful dining options on Swan Street have recently been boosted by two terrific newcomers: Noir and Union Dining. Seafood lovers should head to Richmond Oysters, opposite the East Richmond railway station in Church Street. Almost French, near the Dimmeys store in Swan Street, is great for bread, cakes and pastries. "

  • "A lovely place for us to stay and a quiet refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city. Plenty of space and all the mod cons to allow my husband and I to make the most of the time we had there. We will recommend to our friends if they pass this way!"
    Isabel, April 2011

  • "Absolutely fabulous!!! And we mean it. Talk about location location location - Brilliant. The townhouse? Wonderful. We couldn't fault it. It's all there. Comfortable, homely and welcoming. Our host? Brilliant. Liz, thank you. We will be returning without a doubt. I highly recommend Docker Street."

  • "We are just completing two delightful months (February and March, 2009) in Lizs superb, and superbly located, house in Richmond, a community rich in shops, restaurants, and charm. The house is remarkably sunlit, notwithstanding that it is attached on the north and south sides, in good part because of a charming patio on the west end, which we used often for entertaining and meals. The kitchen and bathroom are modern and well designed, the living area is very comfortable, and the work space for our computer and materials was sufficient to accommodate both my wifes and my files and materials. Liz is a marvelous landlady, with useful suggestions for any inquiry we might have. And the location must be as good as one can get living just outside downtown Melbourne. Trams and trains, within blocks, run all over the city and beyond, sparing us the need to rent a car. So we give Liz, her house, and the location 5 stars. We would return in a moment."
