Guest Reviews

  • "We are just completing two delightful months (February and March, 2009) in Liz?s superb, and superbly located, house in Richmond, a community rich in shops, restaurants, and charm. The house is remarkably sunlit, notwithstanding that it is attached on the north and south sides, in good part because of a charming patio on the west end, which we used often for entertaining and meals. The kitchen and bathroom are modern and well designed, the living area is very comfortable, and the work space for our computer and materials was sufficient to accommodate both my wife?s and my files and materials. Liz is a marvelous landlady, with useful suggestions for any inquiry we might have. And the location must be as good as one can get living just outside downtown Melbourne. Trams and trains, within blocks, run all over the city and beyond, sparing us the need to rent a car. So we give Liz, her house, and the location 5 stars. We would return in a moment."

  • "This is a wonderful property. We were so comfortable and the owner has thought of every litle extra. The kitchen is very well appointed and we had everything we needed. We usually find something 'wrong' when we rent a property but we were so impressed by all of the little extras that Liz has thought of and the quality of the fixtures and fittings. We have rented many properties in Melbourne and this would by far be the best we have stayed at so far. If you want quality, comfort and convenience Docker St is the place to stay. We will definetely come back and will be recommending it to our friends. Thanks for making out stay so comfortable Liz. "

  • "We have just stayed at Docker St to attend the tennis. A perfect location for this. Tram stop, supermarket and restaurants just a stones throw away also. Particularly appreciated the meet and greet service, and the thoughtful extras that the owner provides.Having an entire townhouse and a truly beautiful walled courtyard is far superior to a hotel room.We will return!"

  • "Thank you for a wonderful stay at Docker Street. The house is so welcoming and is like a home away from home. It?s so well located for the football and we enjoyed our short tram ride to the Arts Centre and the city. Thanks too, for the tip about the 'Book Talk Caf?' and 'Torch' around the corner for coffee and breakfast ? we made good use of your suggestions. Looking forward to returning to Docker Street when we are next in Melbourne. Chris (and David)"
