Bridge Road has a growing reputation for eateries as well as shops everything from simple cafes to sophisticated restaurants such as the Richmond Hill Cafe and Larder. If you like trying different cuisines, Swan Street is the place for Greek food, while Victoria Street has numerous Vietnamese restaurants.
If the arts bring you to Melbourne, a short tram ride also gives you easy access to the Melbourne Arts Centre, Hamer Hall, the State Theatre, the National Gallery and the Ian Potter Gallery in Federation Square.
