Description

Set among the majestic gum trees of Emerald in the Dandenong Ranges, Glenview Retreat is a perfect escape for couples from the hustle of every day life. Whether you slip away for a few days mid-week or escape for a romantic weekend you will appreciate the quiet surrounds and fresh smell of the eucalypts as soon as you step from the car.
Glenview Retreat offers accommodation in two private cottage suites, creating a warm, relaxing atmosphere for couples as a romantic getaway or weekend escape.
The fully self contained cottages are each furnished to capture the country style appeal, but designed with modern luxuries of gas log fires, air conditioning, double spa bath, TV, DVD, cathedral ceilings, queen size bed and kitchenette. Each cottage boasts its own courtyard garden and classic Australian bull nose verandah. As part of your indulgent package complimentary wine and chocolates are provided.
While away your days on the lounge, soak amongst the bubbles in your spa or stroll the walking tracks of the Emerald Lake Park or Wrights Forest. Wake in the morning to the bird chorus, a newspaper at your door and a scrumptous cooked country breakfast prepared for you and served piping hot in the privacy of your cottage. Visit the many cafes, restaurants and wineries of the Dandenongs and Yarra Valley.
This spectacular country setting is home to many native birds including king parrots, rosellas and galahs that are fed daily in your courtyard garden.
You can sight wallabies, wombats and echidnas in their natural environment in Wrights Forest or take a leisurely stroll to the beautiful Emerald Lake.

Guest Reviews

  • "Wonderful stay! Jenny was a friendly and helpful hostess. The breakfast was delicious and the little touches like bread to feed the ducks at Emerald Lake Park, the papers in the morning and the fluffy bath robes were much appreciated. We have already recommended it to friends."
