Kangaroos in the Top Paddock is a self-contained secluded cottage within easy reach of the beautiful Grampians National Park.

Named after a herd of local kangaroos that appear each day at dawn and dusk, the property is set on 22 acres of unspoilt natural bushland in the Wartook Valley.

Designed as a retreat for busy adults, Kangaroos in the Top Paddock sleeps up to four people comfortably. The cottage has two bedrooms, each with full en-suite bathrooms, heating and mountain views.

Cool in summer and warm in winter, energy efficient and ecologically sound, the cottage has a modern, fully-equipped kitchen with dining areas inside and outside.

It also features a sunny front terrace and a courtyard comprising a rock garden, herbs, feature walls, indigenous native plants citrus trees and lanterns.

Facilities

Sleeping
Top Paddock has accommodation for up to 4 people - 2 couples or 1 couple and 2 singles). The property is not set up to accommodate children. The two bedrooms have queen beds ( one of which can be converted to two singles) with full en suite and spectacular mountain views.

Dining
Top Paddock has a modern, stylish fully-equipped kitchen with an electric stove and oven, fridge, and everything you need to prepare simple holiday meals. Outdoor electric BBQ and laundry facilities (WM)

Eat inside around the dining table and enjoy the outlook into the garden and valley. On sunny days head out onto the front terrace for coffee or breakfast and soak up the peace and quiet and views of distant Mt Difficult. Cook on the electric barbecue and eat outdoors in the rear courtyard, featuring a rock garden, herbs, feature walls, citrus trees and lanterns.
