Description

"Driftwood" at North Shore is the ultimate holiday beach house. It is a 3 level, modern, well furnished house. It is a beachfront property, located on beautiful Mudjimba Beach. It is situated within the exclusive gated North Shore community at Twin Waters on the Sunshine Coast. It is totally private and has its own 16m lap pool. The house is situated close by the Twin Waters resort, with its extensive lagoon. Guests at the house are able to use the facilities at the Twin Waters resort for sailing, kayaking, swimming, etc. And it is within walking distance of that aquatic playground, the Maroochy River.

Sleeping configuration:

The three level house has four bedrooms. The master retreat occupies the top floor. It has a king size bed, its own ensuite and enjoys extensive views of the ocean.

On the middle level are two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and another with two single beds.

The ground floor features a large bedroom with a queen size bed, and its own ensuite and sitting room.

All linen is provided, including crisp white sheets and pillow cases for the beds, with two pillows per person and white towels for the bath. Doonas are supplied for each bed, with additional woollen blankets in the wardrobes, if you need them. Just bring your beach towels!

Local attractions

The house is located within easy walking distance of the Twin Waters Resort and all the activities of the resort are available to you (subject to payment of standard fees), including kayaking and sailing in catamarans on the lagoon, archery, golf, tennis and swimming.

The flags on Mudjimba Beach are only a short walk from the house. The beach runs from the Maroochy River in the South, to Yaroomba in the north - ideal for jogging and long walks.

Nearby Maroochy River is fabulous for fishing, boating, jet skis and all water sports.

Indulge in award winning nearby restaurants, including Lilly's in the Twin Waters Resort, Harvest at Coolum, The Boat Shed at Cotton Tree and the Wine Bar Restaurant in Maroochydore.

There are extensive walks through the Maroochy River conservation reserve, and along the beach.

The Sunshine Coast Hinterland is at your doorstep. Visit Yandina, tour the Ginger Factory or enjoy the Spirit House Restaurant. Visit Picnics at Fairhill. Picturesque Montville and Maleney are just a short drive inland, with their art galleries, craft shops, antique shops and restaurants. Visit the nearby National Parks with attractions such as the Kondalilla Falls.

Noosa Heads is only a 15 minute drive away. Visit the Eumindi Markets on Saturday morning.

Direct daily flights to Maroochydore Airport, a five minute drive from Driftwood on North Shore, are met by Henry's Airport Bus Service, which will drop you door to door ()
