Kingscliff, located on the Tweed Coast, is a beach side township that is a popular family destination which provides beach and estuary access for swimming, surfing, fishing and water activities.
The Kingscliff Main Street Festival (known as the Art, Food and all that Jazz) is held each year in Winter. Of course the award winning restaurants and cafes are open for business most days.
Below are some local attractions and things to do in Kingscliff and surrounding areas.
*Swimming*
Take advantage of the range of swimming options available at Peppers Bale. Take a dip in the private heated lap pool and spa reserved for Beach House guests, or try the Grand Tropical Beach Lagoon at the Resort. Pepper Bale guests can use all Hotel Resort facilities.
*Beach Activities*
For a little more swimming, venture down to the Ocean beach, patrolled by the Salt Surf Life Saving Club. This is a popular destination for surfers, sun-lovers, people eager to do a little fishing, whether it be river or beach fishing, and those who just want a lazy, family holiday. The beaches in the Kingscliff area are particularly beautiful and far less crowded than the more popular beaches further north.

Also of interest is a walk up to Fingal Lighthouse. The Tweed Townships are worth a look.
