Welcome
On arrival make yourselves at home.
Freckle Park Lodge is fully self contained 2 bedroom Rammed Earth cottage, situated on Half an Acre of land in a bush setting.
Freckle Park Lodge can comfortably sleep 5 to 7 persons.
Bedroom 1 has a Comfortable double bed and Bedroom 2 has a inner sprung Double Sofa Bed, 1 bunk bed and a single trundle bed, to provide you with the most flexible of sleeping arrangements.
2x Supplementary Comfortable folder beds are also available if required.
A new kitchen has been fitted with Smeg Cooking and Dishwashing appliances for your convenience.
A large screen T.V is provided for your in-house entertainment, plus a Playstation2 for games and DVD’s.
Relax on the leather couches with a cold beer or a glass of your favorite Wine.
Get your friends or Family together for the School Holidays, weekends or if you simply feel like a break from it all.
So head down to Freckle Park Lodge and relax.
You can get the BBQ started and the ease into the layed back lifestyle of the South West.
Wineries, Breweries and Caves house Pub.
Caves House and Andy’s General store are a short stroll back up Caves Rd.
Whether to enjoying the services at Caves House Bar facilities, or to get the morning Milk, Ice coffee, bread and paper. The walk is pleasant.
A bush track can be found alongside Caves road. The walk is about 15min.
Lamont’s Restaurant, If a strong coffee with breakfast is required, Lamont’s is also nearby. Takeaways are also available. The walk is approximately 20min.
Head left down Marrinup Rd right into Kangaroo Pde then left into Gunyulgup Valley Dr. (formerly Yallingup Valley Dr)
Lamont’s Restaurant is one of the highest regarded eateries in the area. Bookings for lunch are essential. Telephone
Bootleg brewery is also a favourite; head down Caves Rd toward Margaret River, turn left into Johnston Rd and follow the signs, then right into Puzey Rd. Great beer is brewed on the premises, while your there why not order a meal from the Menu. Sunday’s are busy but worth the wait. Ph
Beaches
Surfing, fishing, and Swimming Beaches are all readily accessible from Freckle Park Lodge.
The fishing is good at most beaches, Salmon, Herring, Tailor and Sand whiting are the most common species caught from shore.
Yallingup and Smiths beach's are a short 2km drive away.
Yallingup lagoon is a sandy beach protected by a reef to create a safe swimming area.
Surfing
Dozens of World Class surfing waves, for the beginner to the Advanced can be found in the local area.
Caves
Ngilgi Cave is located nearby, a bush “short cut” track from the Lodge can take you there, otherwise it is only a five minute drive.
Walk trails
An extensive walk trail system is located around the Yallingup Town site with all commencing at Yallingup beach. They are all well signposted and range from 15min to 2 1/2hrs
Diving
Cape dive in Dunsborough do guided dives on the H.M.A.S Swan, off Eagle bay or Busselton Jetty. They hire all gear and dive nearly every day.
