Description

Ellie's Studio Apartment is a lovely, light and roomy apartment located right in the heart of the beautiful historic seaside village of Stanley.
It also offers complete privacy, as it is tucked just off the main street, but with quaint cafes, restaurants, shops and galleries right on the door step.
The Apartment has a comfortable queen size bed with microfibre underlay, quality bed linen and electric blanket, there are recliner chairs, an electric log heater, TV and VCR. Has well equipped kitchenette with fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery. There is also a lovely dining area and the bathroom is complete with towels and heated towel rails, iron and ironing board.
There is a private courtyard with gas barbecue and a private off street car park.

About Stanley

Stanley is surrounded by beautiful pristine beaches and is an historic village settled in 1826. It is predominately a fishing village, with the quaint homes and buildings nestled at the base of "The Nut", a monolith rising 152 metres from the ocean, making this a quaint township. To take a stroll along the pristine beaches revitalises the soul, and the sunsets are magnificent.
There is such a lot to see and do in and around Stanley, with wildlife in abundance. There are Platypus and Pengin viewing tours in the wild (minimum 4 adults), tours to discover the magical Tarkine, temperate rainforests and wild west coast, seal cruises, Tasmanian devil spotting tours, falls and historic homes and quaint shops and galleries to explore.

Our Chocolate Shop and Cafe

We are a local family and also own Ye Olde Chocolate Shoppe and The Swingin' Anchor Cafe at No. 4 Church Street.
Our Chocolate shop is a lovely, old fashioned traditional shop specialising in Tasmanian made fudges, truffles, boiled sweets, chocolate and Tasmanian made Valhalla ice-cream and sorbets.
The Swingin' Anchor Cafe specialises in Tasmanian scallops, as well as crayfish (in season). We bake our own delicious Tasmanian scallop pies, and we make our own gourmet beef burgers (from our own beef). Our seafood crepes and Tasmanian Scallop Fritters are to die for.
We also serve light meals - focaccias, soups and chowders, and we have an all-day breakfast menu.
House baked muffins, scones and cakes are delightful choices, and our coffee (Grinders), is considered the best in town.
