  • "The apartment was lovely! We didn't want for anything while we were there.I'll be visiting again!"
    Lindsay, July 2009

  • "Tina, Anna and Monica provided an excellent service and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Robe St. The apartment was perfectly located: close to trams, groovy Acland St shops and in a quiet street that had no through traffic. There was a lovely view of the Palais Theatre lit up at night and great atmosphere on Friday, Saturday nights and during markets on Sunday. The apartment was comfortable, well heated and secure and a welcoming retreat at the end of the day after sightseeing. "

  • "LOved it! It was all so easy and what a great location!"

  • "Thank you Anna and Tina. Beach house on Robe really is a great little home away from home. A gem after my previous places in Melbourne and very well priced for such a cute little abode. Thanks again, ann"
    Ann, May 2008

  • "The quite affordable St. Kilda apartment was perfect for our visit to Melbourne and the Australian Open Tennis Tournament - clean, fully furnished, well located, and very convenient to public transport. There are cafes, restaurants, groceries, and delis very close by. Ana and Tina proved to be attentive and helpful hosts. "

  • " We found this place adequate for our needs, and well worth the money. Much better than the average motel, where you have no view and no kitchen. The kitchen was fully catered for, with microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, bench space, and a large fridge (not your motel mini-fridge). The unit was air-conditioned, although it was quite well insulated by having units above and below. The bath room was decent, although I would like to see the shower over the bath replaced with a standard shower cubicle. Wi-fi is available at a fair price, although in the end I decided to leave my laptop home. The LCD TV is great, better than what I have at home. There is also a DVD player, but I forgot to bring any DVDs. I will next time. There is a laundry, but we brought enough clothes to last the distance. The units themselves were quiet, no evidence of hoons, or rowdy people. Parking in the street was sometimes tight, but I was always able to find a place. Parking on site was better, which I did at night. The balcony was a big plus, a lovely place to sit and have an evening meal or drink, it overlooks the street from the first floor. The nearby tree brings lots of birds to feed on the flowers in front of you. There is always something to see from the balcony. TTraffic is light. Most of the traffic is pedestrian, people walking to the shops and cafes. On the weekends you hear the odd group of merry makers finding their way home. But being on the first floor reduces the noise. Besides this is St Kilda, the most lively place in Melbourne, you can't expect total silence. The location in St Kilda is excellent. Within walking distance to almost everything: 2 supermarkets, a zillion cafe/ restaurants/ watering holes, trams, Fitzroy St, the yacht club, Luna Park if you are inclined, even the Palais theatre. St Kilda is a good place to locate yourself as far as Melbourne's attractions, including the CBD, yet for most of the suburban areas you are spared going through the CBD. For the price, it would be difficult to do better than 5/2 Robe St. "

  • "What a lovely abode, after moving out from around the corner! Place is nicly fitted out, clean and fresh looking, so much nicer. Anna & Tina were really helpful. Differently recommend the Apartment, great position, quiet block and internet access good."
