Wombat Hilltop Cottages

Description

Wombat Hilltop Cottages is set on 105 acres of bushland and pasture. The entrance of the property is conviniently located on the main road ( Castlereagh Highway ). The cottages are 300 metres from the main road behind a line of trees offering a peaceful setting. A place to relax body, mind and soul.
We welcome families, couples, singles and groups.
Our guests are welcomed to bring their dogs or cats if they wish.
The cottages offer accomodation for 6 or 8 people. Both cottages have a bedroom with a queen size bed, Bathroom, Toilet, Laundry facilities, a lounge suit, 4 single beds in the living area, a kitchen with fridge, stove ,microwave. Coffee and tea facilities are available and a dining area. There is a TV monitor and a DVD player. Books. Games. Puzzle.
All linen and towels are supplied. One of the cottage has a Sofa bed.

What can you do while at Wombat Hilltop Cottages

You can relax. You can walk around the property. You can take a drive to Sofala (25 minutes), Hill End (45 minutes), Dunn Swamp(40 minutes), Kandos(20Minutes), Rylstone(25 minutes), Mudgee and Lithgow(45 minutes),Bathurst (1 hour),Gulgong (1 hour 20) and even Dubbo ( 2 1/2 hours).
Their is bushwalk available all around the region.
Mudgee has wine tasting, crafts and boutiques.
Gulgong a little further has a lot of history.
Sofala and Hill End are old mining town with their own touch of history.
The beautiful Capertee valley is not far with Glen Davis, Newnes and the Glow Worm Cave.
Just outside Rylstone is Ferntree Gully with easy bushwalking and beautifull setting.
Kandos has a public pool and an 18 hole Golf Course.

The rate of $ 80.00 is based on 2 adults and midweek. Sometimes we have specials.
Cottages fit comfortably 2 couples each, or up to 6 single adults each. Families up to 2 adults and 4/5 children fit comfortably in either cottages.
