All of our homes are luxuriously appointed and they create the perfect ambiance for a carefree holiday or short break without having to compromise on style.
The tranquil picturesque settings are ideal for relaxing, or undertaking one of the many water activities at your doorstep. You could also use as a base to explore the hunter valley wineries, or to experience many of the nearby activities around the Lake and the Watagan mountains.
Del Coronado is air-conditioned and all of the linen and manchester is supplied. There is a chef's kitchen, spa bath, wireless internet access, a great selection of CD's and DVD's and a Playstation 3 with games. There is also an outdoor spa and new dedicated home cinema room with 90 inch screen HD & Blu Ray!!
Use of all of the amenities is included in the accommodation and there is kayak, dinghy, fishing gear, hand reels only, 2 bicycles for your use.

This house is definately undersold on the website - it is huge, clean and wonderfully furnished/presented. It comfortably slept 8 people, with capacity for ten. The outlook is idyllic and the outdoor BBQ/spa area is wonderful for entertaining. We had the best weekend and hope to return ASAP.

Wonderful weekend !! Activities included fishing from the jetty and the row boat (supplied by the owner), Kayaking for one or couples in our quiet protected bay, BBQ on the patio with seating for all 8 of us, many DVDs and Foxtel when the rain set in and board games for all to enjoy. Bait is available at the service station nearby, and the hand lines supplied were great. Verandahs facing both the lake and road provided a sunny spot at different times of day.

We have stayed at Andrea's other property, Mirrabooka Boathouse earlier in the year and couldn't wait to stay at her other property, Del Coronado.
The moment we arrived into the house, we were impressed at Andrea's amazing use of space - the house's furnishings fitted perfectly and most mod cons were included.
Overlooking the beautiful lake, I immediately felt relaxed.
We went fishing on the lake using the dinghy provided and it was total relaxation - the lake was so still and you could see the fish jump out of the water (except when the weather turned and current was coming in, the rowing was a bit of a challenge!)
The kids loved the house and didn't want to leave - they loved going on the jetty, feeding the fish and watching the swans.
Great property - it was very difficult to return to work the next day.

Thanks so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. It was a lovely way to celebrate my 50th, with friends and relies able to visit and stay very easily from Sydney. Lots to do for all, even with the ordinary weather with 4 year olds, teens, twenty somethings and us oldies all being catered for. One of the nicest things I'd have to say though was to be able to go somewhere beautiful for us which was also lovely for our dog Holly, with her needs being catered for as much as ours. What an amazing place.... please,, don't tell your friends as I don't want it to be to hard to book.. but really. Modern, spacious, stylishly furnished and decorated and the little touches such as chocolates on your pillow and flower arrangements when you arrive just make it.

We recently stayed at Del Coronado and it was amazing. The house was modern and unbelievably well equipped, everything had been thought of! Kayaking around Bonnells Bay and fishing off the jetty was relaxtion 101, and the dog loved it too!We will definitely be back!

Del Coronado was everything I hoped for, and more! We loved the special touches such as the chocolates, wine, eggs, dog treats etc. The house was so well equipped with DVDs, games, bikes, fishing equipment etc that we were never short of anything to do! Will definitely be coming back!

What a stunning residence, beautifully fitted, completley equipped. Its own private jetty offers immediate access to the tranquil and crab-ful Lake Maquarie, which presents the dilemma. Relax in the spacious house, lounge around watching DVDs so one of the many LCD TV's or cook in the magnificent kitchen, or spend the day out on the beautiful lake. Whatever you do you'll feel like you've been away for a week not a weekend. Highly recommended.

This was one of the most enjoyable short breaks we have had in quite a while. The location was idyllic, so picturesque, calm and relaxing.
The house itself was fantastic, with high quality furnishings and fittings and the attention to detail was impressive (there was even a new rattle for my 4 month old baby!). There is a great combination of outdoor and indoor activities which meant we were always doing something, but still came home feeling refreshed. There is also a great tennis centre just up the road with great value tennis lessons!
It is rare to find a place that actually exceeds the photos and descriptions on the website - but Del Coronado does, we'll be back as soon as we can!

Just wanted to drop you a small note of thanks- I forgot to sign the guest book on the way out!
The house was the best we have experienced in a long time.
The house is lovely and the setting on the Lake just picturesque.
But what was most impressive was the superior fit out and the little extra things.
Obviously you have gone to alot of trouble and expense to set-up your home with first class fittings and appliances, cutlery, pots, pans, glasses etc. I do not think I can recall a kitchen where every item is new- and in a matching set! Great beds, linen and towels too.
We are so used to half a set of wine glasses and mismatched tea cups- most owners seem to throw all the old stuff out of their own home in to the rental- either that or the shop at St Vinnies.
The complimentary bottles of water, lovely tea caddy, quality jams, chocolates on the beds and the ball for our dog were wonderful- those extra little things really made a difference.
The most comfortable lounge and huge selection of DVD's kept me entertained one afternoon- and the guys were very happy with the full Foxtel to catch the Rugby.
So it was truly one of the nicest weekends away we have had in ages- thank you for letting us share it.
From booking online, confirming by email the whole process was effortless.
The description of the home is completely accurate we enjoyed it very much.

What a wonderful place to be to bring in 2008!We have just had a the most relaxing 2 weeks in our own private resort on the lake! From the chocolates on the pillows and the bathrobes, to the supplied crabnets and kayak Del Coronado certainly has all the finishing touches. This is an exceptional place that blends style and function into the ideal holiday get away. We are already planning our next stay!

Del Coronado is a wonderful luxury waterfront holiday. We went with my 2 boys, 9 & 11. Anything you can possibly think of has been provided. From the Kayak,PS2,boardgames and videos right down to the can of aeroguard beside the BBQ! The views are gorgeous and the atmoshere is so relaxing. The boys were never bored and we all cannot wait to go back again!A great place for both families and couples.

We have 3 young boys and a dog and each one of us had a great week at Del Coronado. We spent hours oustide, fishing off the jetty and dinghy, kayaking, bike-riding and kicking a ball in the large backyard facing the lake. There is a good range of playstation games and boardgames - the kids had a lot to do inside as well. The house is beautiful and very well set up for a family like us (and a pet too). It was one of the best holidays for a busy mum like me. We certainly did a lot but I also managed to finish reading some books too. The lake view was so soothing and relaxing. We'are already planning our next stay at Del Coronado.
