The Rondawel is perfectly situated between the picturesque villages of Maleny and Montville. Experience a little bit of Africa in Aus! The cottage is spacious, with two large bedrooms and a pull out couch in the lounge. It is fully selfcontained. Relax by the log fire in winter, or enjoy cool summer breezes. Enjoy the hearty breakfastyou can order or order a traditional South African dinner by candlelight. The Rondawel is a very special cottage, and you get the feeling you are staying in a tree house! Sit on the deck where the branches of the 500 year old fig tree touch. Have a relaxing massage, followed by a luxurious bath, overlooking the beautiful gardens. Pick lemons, limes or herbs to enhance your meals or drinks. Take a walk in the large garden, or sit and relax in the swing under the enormous fig tree. Pure bliss! This is the place where you can relax and the kids can play on the spacious lawns.

What to do at The Rondawel

You can relax, revive and rejuvenate body and soul, or you can experience the magic of Maleny. The cottage is close to the many excellent restaurants of Maleny, and only a short drive to the beautiful beaches of the Sunshine Coast. Or you can go on one of the many rainforest walks, have a sail on Baroon Pocket Dam, visit Australia Zoo, which is only 20 mins drive. Or browse the many art galleries and shops of Maleny and Montville. The famous Maleny Cheese is right across the road, as well as The Tree Frog Gallery and Maleny Quilts. Talk a stroll down Sinclairs Lane and marvel at the spectacular views at the end. Visit Maleny Dairies or Colin James for his famous ice creams and gelatos (also stocks our range of products, called Gourmet Afrika). You can do a lot, or sit on the deck with a good book! The choice is yours.
