Had a 3 day stay with 2 grandchildren. Everything was at hand to keep them amused, even when the weather prevented exploring the lake shore and the close by seaside. Inside the house , there was a good selection of DVD's and board games. The house was found very clean with all the pots and pans for an army!! As Arnie used to say, "I'll be back".

Green Gables Guest Cottage was delightful. Everything you could need was provided and I took with me things that I could have left at home. The presentation was excellent as was the cleanliness and tidiness of the property. The views were wonderful and the house is very close to anything that you may want to visit or do in the area of Forster/Tuncurry. I would recommend Green Gables Guest Cottage to anyone looking for a retreat but not off the beaten track.

We stayed at Green Gables for the June Long Weekend and had a great time. The accomodation was comfortable and the view was amazing. Our dog Holly loved the backyard - which was secure and included shelter to keep her out of the rain. We loved walking down to the lake and through the National Park, the area is beautiful. Definately recommended!

Green Gables is located within easy reach of some of the state's best beaches. With a beautiful aspect overlooking the lake, it provided a safe and comfortable haven after a day surfing

Had a great time. Property was well described and great value for money. I should say it was terrible and stop other people from filling the calendar and making it difficult for us but I'd be lying. Lovely house, great location.

A cute and cozy cottage which is completely a home away from home. Everything you need is supplied here, nothing is left out. I found I didn't need to pack a thing.
Modern appliances including flat screen tv and great little granny flat out the back for extra space.
Beautiful views and close to lakeside beach for a quiet stroll or safe swimming for kids.
Wake to the sound of the birds and enjoy magnificent sunsets from the lounge room.
Far enough away to enjoy the peace and serenity of the natural surrounds, but close enough to enjoy local conveniences and restaurants.
Recommended to all for a memorable family holiday.
