Happy Valley is a beautiful picturesque farm.

So, where are we located?

Coming from Cooma on the Snowy Mountains Highway, when within 2kms of Adaminaby & have just passed the Golf Course on your left, you will come to the cross roads. Turn left into Yen`s Bay Road, drive along this for approx 2.km & then you will come to "Happy Valley" which is the first property on your left. Follow the road past the gate to the main homestead.

Now, what do you do once you get here?

In winter enjoy skiing at nearby Mt. Selwyn Snowfields, a friendly fun place for the whole family located approx. 45 minutes drive from Happy Valley.
There are three ski hire outlets 5 minutes away in Adaminaby and if you tell them you are staying at Happy Valley they will give you 10% discount on your skis and equipment.
The Adaminaby General store can supply all your food requirements and have a good range of other holiday needs. If you wish to eat out there are two cafe's in the town and restaurants at the Bowling Club and the Hotel.
There are two Service Stations, the BP and the Ampol NRMA Service Station; both of which have snow chains for hire for your car. It is a requirement that these be carried in all two wheel drive vehicles over the winter period on our mountain roads.

Guest Reviews

  • "We loved the farm house. It had everything we needed for our two families and there was still beds left over! The kitchen is well organised and the wood fire kept the whole house warm. We couldn?t believe our eye with the kangaroos that graze close by. Neville let us pat them while they had their breakfast in font of the homestead. This was the highlight of our stay. Selwyn Snowfields is so close by and is fab for little kids. There are also more cottages available if you need them. We cant wait to return "
