Guest Reviews

  • "We stay here for a night on 19 Nov 2008 (family of 2A & 2C). This is a very private and cozy cottage. The place was clean and the beds comfortable. My kids were so excited about the loft beds, the cockatoos and kookaburra that flew into the balcony. The breakfast basket provided, was simple but sufficient and healthy to our likings. And I agree with Joanne that the Owner, Margaret was very thoughtful with those little extras that we have not expected. A most helpful host providing us with location guides and eateries. The location was great....near to shops and the Belgrave Puffing Billy Station. Could not have asked for more. Thank you Margaret for making us feel at home and making this a wonderful experience for all of us."

  • "My partner and I stayed at this cottage for 4 days and we loved it. It was like a haven and a retreat. The owner could not be more accommodating of our needs and very honest and friendly. I would highly recommend this incredible place. I didn't want to leave the cottage it felt so cosy."

  • "We wanted to stay a night in the Dandenong ranges. Most of the cottages requires 2 nights min. stay. But this cottage allows 1 night stay. We had a pleasant stay. The cottage is fully equipped. I will definitely recommend this cottage."

  • "I cannot rate this property high enough!!!My Mum and Dad just stayed for three nights at this great little cottage. My family use to run a motel and I use to work as a Hotel Representative for a wholesaler so we are pretty critical when it comes to properties. If you want a fantastic quiet location walking distance to shops/station and Puffing Billy but feels like your in the middle of a forest and in a georgeous cottage with lots of privacy this is it. The cottage is ten star. All little extras have been thought of that you wouldn't expect and I can guarantee no disappointment. Great alternative to staying in the city as nice little retreat on the outskirt of town and train goes direct to city-walking distance but you wouldn't know it it's so quiet-you'll just hear birds and possums. Belgrave is a lovely area in Melbourne. I live locally and my family thoroughly enjoyed their stay. They were very comfortable. Great property for all travel types couples, families, business people great versatile property in a very serene area. Very high standard of accommodation. Enjoy your stay!!!"

  • "A cosy little cottage within easy walking distance of the belgrave shops. Bush surrounds make it a peaceful getaway from the city, while being only a drive or train ride away."
