Features include a tastefully decorated open plan living/bedroom area with a cozy gas log fire, polished floors, comfy wrought iron bed, A/C, dbl sofa-bed, TV/DVD, with in-house movies + CD's, CD player, modern kitchenette + bathroom. Linen, fluffy robes, towels, hair dryer and toiletries included. Double French doors open out to a spacious deck for outdoor dining. For breakfast, tea/coffee, milk, juice, cereals, toast, fruit and yoghurt are included in the price except for 7 night stays. Shared laundry available for a small charge. WIFI internet available also.
Close to all attractions the Dandenong Ranges has to offer, 15 minutes by car to the summit and 50-60 minutes by car or train to Flinders St or Southern Cross Stations in Melbourne city.
A short walk to Belgrave shops/restaurants, train and bus stations and some wonderful restaurants. Drive to Grant's Picnic Ground to feed the local bird life. Catch a ride on the old steam train through giant Mountain Ash trees and fern gullies on the way to Emerald Lake or extend your train ride to Gembrook. Visit the National Rhodedendron Gardens, William Rickets Sanctuary, Mt Dandenong Observatory and the quaint villages of Sassafras and Olinda with their devonshire tea houses, unique shops and first class restaurants.
Ideally suited for a couple but can accommodate 2 young children as well. portacot and hi-chair available.
If you have 1 or 2 older children or extra adults we also have 2 single beds in the 2nd bedroom upstairs. This has an outside staircase and separate entrance. Please note the loft has heating and A/C but guests/children need to come downstairs to the bathroom.
Contact the on-site owner/manager to discuss special accommodation circumstances. The 2 night minimum stay applies to Fri, Sat and Sun. 1 night stay is okay midweek. Please call for a 1 night weekend stay. Sometimes it's possible.
