Anchors Away is a dog friendly holiday house in a quiet leafy cul-de-sac, catering for up to 8 people with relaxing water views over the bay. Feed the king parrots and rosellas that fly in to visit on the back verandah. The beach is just a five minute flat walk or a one minute drive down the street.

Culburra Beach (patrolled during summer) is great for swimming, surfing, fishing, and taking leisurely long walks. It is equally good for the health conscious who enjoy jogging along the water’s edge . Dolphins frolic in the waves and humpback whales visit these waters in spring and winter. Most importantly, Culburra Beach is dog friendly where even “off the leash” is allowed.

Anchors Away, with a nautical theme from the moment you step aboard, has 4 Bedrooms with ceiling fans. 1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Double, and 2 single beds all supplied with quality linen and bath towels. The house has 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Austar television is provided for your enjoyment. The living areas also have ceiling fans, an air conditioner for summer time and a cosy log fire for the winter months (fire wood supplied). Extra car and boat parking is catered for within the property.

There is a front verandah with comfy chairs to catch the winter sun or cool summer breezes and a back verandah with outdoor dining, BBQ and dartboard.

Anchors Away also caters for your four-legged friends, with trampoline beds, toys, food and water dishes.Out the back there is a large fenced yard for your dogs to run and play, and a hammock among the trees where you can enjoy that quiet snooze away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Surfing,boating,snorkelling and fishing are popular in the area just 2 hours south of Sydney and 3 hours from Canberra.
