"THE BEACH SHELLAY" is a chalet style holiday home with oodles of character and colour. It comfortably sleeps one to eight people. CAN SLEEP UP TO 10 for a little extra, making it suitable for 2 families to stay. Great Value!

COLOURFUL BED, BATH AND KITCHEN LINEN CAN BE PROVIDED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE FOR $20 PER PERSON. THIS PRICE INCLUDES YOUR BEDS FRESHLY MADE UP FOR YOU ON ARRIVAL!

CLOSE TO EVERYTHING! Beach, barge, restaurant, golf course and corner store.

The Beach Shellay is one of four fabulous themed cottages called "QUIRKY COTTAGES". It has a playground and VW combi van cubby for kids, directly behind the house. Pet chooks, fresh eggs, green grass. and clean bay air for good living.

WHERE IS COOCHIEMUDLO ISLAND AND HOW DO I GET THERE?

40 Minutes drive south east of Brisbane, off Victoria Point, you will find beautiful Coochiemudlo Island.

The passenger ferry runs from early in the morning to late in the evening every day, every half hour for a cost of $6.80 rerturn.

The vehicle barge runs many times a day, seven days a week at a reasonable cost of $50 return.

"The Beach Shellay home wasn't able to be completed by the time we arrived so we were kindly offered the Lamina Amour accomodation. Regardless we found the Shellay (when complete would be a funky place to hang out and enjoy the long lazy days-the kids loved it, too). The Lamina Amour was just wonderful. It is has a lovely sealife & animal theme in calming blues'n'greens. We loved the back enclosed patio with the outdoor kitchen plus Hayley's artistry with mosaics/tiling & upside down lamps were well worth the visit. It is surrounded by beautiful acacia and jacaranda trees with an enormous yard to enjoy and my kids loved playing and climbing trees while we lazed about on the flyscreened patio. Hayley is a simply gorgeous person, very approachable and welcoming. My mum loved it and her and so did my kids. Furthermore, my husband and I loved the main bedroom (we named it the 'love-shack) as Hayley has designed it to give the parents privacy, romance with an added touch of the luxury of a kingsize bed. A couple of minor things needed some TLC even so this place was value for $$. If you haven't guessed yet, we just loved Hayley and her Quirky Cottages and will definitely being going back."
