Situated just 50m opposite the soft white sands of beautiful Belongil Beach, Bellisimo offers the most discerning visitor the best of all worlds. Away from the madding crowd but just a leisurely 15 minute stroll along the beach (or road) into town where you can enjoy the fabulous shops, restaurants and nightlife that Byron Bay is famous for.
If you're a Festival fan, we're walking distance from Belongil Fields (site of Splendour in the Grass 2012) and a 10 minute drive to the Bluesfest site at Tyagarah.
Our Accommodation
Bellisimo offers 4.5 star (Resort rated by AAA) luxurious, fully air-conditioned accommodation with 2 bedrooms (1 queen and 2 singles) and 2 designer bathrooms, main with bath & shower, ensuite with walk in shower.
A spacious open plan lounge/ dining area with stunning polished floors is perfect for relaxed holiday living. You can cook up a storm in the trendy open plan kitchen with European stainless steel appliances and stone bench tops.
There is a large LCD TV with Austar in the lounge along with a DVD/CD player plus there is WiFi available onsite.
So you can bring along your own music for your holiday, an ipod/ iphone docking sound system is also in the lounge.
Large sliding glass doors slide back to open the lounge up to the outside north facing covered deck that includes a built in BBQ/ stainless steel outdoor kitchen. The perfect spot to sit in the morning sun with a coffee, listening to the relaxing sound of waves lapping the beach.
At Bellisimo, we know that a good night's sleep is the best way to enjoy a great holiday so we use the finest linens and bedding to ensure peaceful slumber.
Bellisimo is part of a stunning low rise resort that features a gorgeous lagoon style swimming pool which is heated for all year round dips.
For the ultimate in relaxation, there is a heated spa to help ease away the stresses and strains of busy lifestyles. Jump into either of these after a de-stressing and stretching session at one of the many local yoga studios to be found in the Byron area.
The pool and spa are perfectly located, offering a lovely sheltered environment for the four seasons.
All this is surrounded by lush tropical gardens that also include a bush inspired billabong covered in waterlilies.
Bird life abounds creating a beautiful tropical atmosphere with the sound of the ocean providing a soothing backdrop.
Bellisimo is a ground floor apartment and has it's own 2 private courtyards that feature bird attracting gardens which are ideal for young children to play in safely.
No holiday is complete without good food and the best wood fired pizza's, coffee and cocktails are to be found nearby at Treehouse which is open for breakfast, lunch & dinner most days.
Walk into town along the beach or road and you'll find a fantastic selection of eateries from casual to fine dining plus numerous pubs.
Every Thursday morning there is a Farmers Market at the Butler St Reserve in Byron Bay offering the best of local produce.
Byron Bay offers a vast array of distractions for those seeking an active holiday break. Choose from water activities such as surfing, kite surfing, kayaking & scuba diving to name a few. Brochures for many of these are in the apartment or you can visit the local Byron Visitors Centre for more details.
Also as a great day trip, we're an easy 1 hours drive from the Gold Coast theme parks where you'll find entertainment for the whole family.
But let's not forget the majesty of nature with Whale Watching during the winter months either from the beach across the road or from the Lighthouse. There's also cycling, skydiving & walking plus there are lots of tours to choose from to see the stunning surrounding hinterland towns. A trip to Mt Warning is a fabulous day out with an unbeatable view as a reward.
Most importantly, there is the Cape Byron Headland Reserve including the famous Lighthouse. For the active amongst us, the Lighthouse walk is a must.
