Our Accommodation
Bellisimo provides modern & luxurious, fully air-conditioned accommodation with 2 bedrooms (Master 1 queen and 2nd bedroom with a King or 2 singles upon request).
At Bellisimo, we know that a good night's sleep is the best way to enjoy a great holiday so we use the finest linens and bedding to ensure peaceful slumber.
There are 2 designer bathrooms, main with bath & shower, master ensuite with walk in double "rain" shower heads, eco friendly/water saving ones!..
A spacious open plan lounge/ dining area with stunning polished floors is perfect for relaxed holiday living.
You can cook up a storm in the user friendly open plan kitchen with European stainless steel appliances and stone bench tops.
There is a large LCD TV with Foxtel in the lounge along with a DVD player plus there is a CD player with ipod/ iphone connectivity.
Large glass doors slide back to open the lounge up to the outside north facing covered deck that includes a built in BBQ/ stainless steel outdoor kitchen. The perfect spot to sit in the morning sun with a coffee, listening to the relaxing sound of waves lapping the beach.
Luxurious beach towels are also included.
A porta cot and high chair are provided at no extra cost if required.
Tropical garden location
Bellisimo is part of an architecturally designed, low rise resort that features a gorgeous lagoon style swimming pool with heated spa for the ultimate relaxation experience.
Jump into either of these after a de-stressing and stretching session at one of the many local yoga studios to be found in the Byron area.
The pool and spa are perfectly located, offering a lovely sheltered environment for the four seasons.
All this is surrounded by lush tropical gardens that features a bush inspired Billabong covered in waterlilies and teaming with fish.
Bird life abounds creating a beautiful tropical atmosphere with the sound of the ocean providing a soothing backdrop.
Bellisimo is a ground floor apartment with it's own 2 private courtyards that feature bird attracting gardens which are ideal for young children to play in safely.
Things to do
No holiday is complete without good food and at the front of the resort is the newly opened Belongil Bistro. Serving Modern European food by renowned chef Christian Poulsen, you'll be sure to get great coffees and innovative food at sensible prices from 7am till late most days. It's also a great place for cocktails and tapas in the early evenings.
For wood fired pizza's, the newly re-furbished Treehouse next door is back in business. good news for us pizza fans!
Recently opened, next door to the Belongil Bistro is a great new event space called the Dune Room which is ideal for functions and weddings. Please contact them directly for further information.
Walk into the Byron Bay township along the beach or road and you'll find a fantastic selection of eateries from casual to fine dining plus numerous pubs. The whole Byron Shire has many and varied dining options to suit all palates.
Byron Bay is famous for it's local music scene and most nights you'll find a huge variety to choose from. Better still, most of it is free!
Every Thursday morning there is a Farmers/ Growers Market at the Butler St Reserve in Byron Bay offering the best of local produce. In the same location on the first Sunday in the month is the BIG market with local artisans selling all sorts of wares as well as great food.
Byron Bay offers a vast array of distractions for those seeking an active holiday break. Choose from water activities such as surfing, kite surfing, kayaking & scuba diving to name a few. Brochures for many of these are in the apartment or you can visit the local Byron Visitors Centre for more details.
The Byron Bay Golf Club is just 15 minutes away from Bellisimo. It has an excellent course and clubhouse (with a restaurant) for all the golfers in the family. Home of the Legends Golf Classic, you'll see greats such as previous winners Ian Baker Finch and Peter Senior play around December each year.
Plan a great day trip for the kids to the Gold Coast's Theme Parks where you'll find entertainment for the whole family. We're an easy 1 hours drive away.
But let's not forget the majesty of nature with Whale Watching during the winter months and kayaking with the dolphins all year round.
There's also cycling, skydiving, bush walking and horse riding to name a few activities plus there are lots of tours to choose from to see the stunning surrounding hinterland towns.
A trip to Mt Warning is a fabulous day out with an unbeatable view as a reward. You can take an early morning balloon trip or aerial tour to see it all from above as well.
And of course, there is the Cape Byron Headland Reserve which is the most Easterly Point in mainland Australia which includes the famous Lighthouse. For the active amongst us, the Lighthouse walk is a must.
