The Springs Cottages

Description

There are just 6 retro cottages by the sandy shores of Swan Lake. The cottages are in a setting of heritage gardens and ancient forrest.

The 10 acre property is surrounded by reserves and Conjola National Park. The ocean is just a short stroll through the national park.

Just 3 hours south of Sydney it is a stunning drive along the new coast road. We are just past the turnoff to Jervis Bay.

The cottages have been decorated in an eclectic array of 1950's memorabilia and are both comfortable and cosy.

The new mudbrick Studio

This new addition is a 2 storey lofted studio built by local artists. It is set in gardens and forrest. Sit on secluded verandah with views to Swan Lake and observe the bower birds darting about the cassuarinas. Possums and bandicoots will visit at night. Listen for the mopoke owls.

It is a tranquil space ideal for the perfect hideaway. It also provides a wonderful open, undercover space for large gatherings of friends and family for that special occasion

It also provides a venue for all workshops from "Art to Yoga to Zen Budhism."

What people love about the place.

The peace, the simplicity. the natural high in lighting a fire or strolling in the gardens. Observing the abundant animal and bird life - the property is a natural sanctury. There are underground springs and semi rainforrest, the dunes behind the property support and ancient coastal forrest.

Kids get together and discover the joy and secrets of the property and the surrounds. It is safe. There is no through traffic, we are at the end of a road. We also welcome well behaved pets outsdide our peak times.

There is an energy to the property that attracts artists, yoga teachers, musicians, media and entertainment folk. Any one with poetry in their soul and an eye for beauty and authenticity
